January Release Challenge #1
Hi Everyone!
Here is a challenge for you----
For this challenge, use the sketch below to create a scrapbook page using stamps on your page by Monday night (1/26) 7 p.m. (central time). If you own any stamps by Gina K Designs, be sure to use them on your page! If you don’t have any (yet!), feel free to play along with what you have!!!
Upload your page on SCS using the keyword " GKJANEM" and be sure to link back to this thread. On Monday night, I will take all the entries posted and pick a winner out of a hat. The winner will be announced on Tuesday morning!
****The winner of this challenge will receive any stamp set they choose from Gina K Designs valued at $19.95 or less!***** Be sure to link your entries back to this thread so we can all check them out!

Here is my sample, which uses the new Sweetest Blessings set. I did an 8 x 8 layout but you can do whatever size works best for you. The sketch is below the sample.
And yes, you can translate this to a card if you're not a scrapbooker.

I did it, but not a page. . .it's a card! I am so sorry Erika, but I am just not a scrapbooker. IT totally overwhelms me. Anyway, here is my card. . .it was challenging for me, but I am happy I did it.

Thanks for the inspiration Erika! I used a birthday photo of DS with his cupcakes. Its not the best photo because the cupcakes were in focus instead of him, but I decided to go with that, selectively colorizing the cupcakes to highlight them. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=176675 |

I made a scrapbook page! I haven't done that in, well, years, I think! THanks Erika for the layout & inspiration! I used Have a Cookie. Again. I love this set!

My girls look so little in this picture. It's kind of fun to see how much they've changed in a few years. Or maybe it's been more than a few & I've lost track of time. Seems they should still be that little some days.

I actually had plans for a 12x12 snow day page until I realized that the pictures hadn't been printed yet, so I subbed in this 6x6 instead. I only have one stamped image in the corner, but otherwise... mission completion! Thanks for the challenge, and HOORAY for scrapbooking progress!

Oh, Erika, can you tell which child is the blonde with the mouth & attitude? LOL! And the one with the "deer in the headlights" look is the Aspie/Autistic one.

Oh my goodness!! I'm so blown away by the fabulous layouts you all made!
I'm so glad that the winner is drawn at random because there is no way that I choose a winner! I would choose all of you! Now I know how Gina feels when she gets a gagillion entries in her give-aways!
