Inspiration Challenge 162 ~ Tenugui

What a fabulous IC Gallery last week ... I think it was a record number of participants. It was so great to see lots of new faces joining the Inspiration Challenge fun.

This week’s inspiration challenge was suggested by **Carol**. Her family took a vacation from her home in Korea to see friends in Japan, and while she was there she went to a great store with a wonderful selection of tenugui. Tenugui are printed cotton towels that have many uses in Japanese culture. I have uploaded several designs, and have several links where you can see more ideas for inspiration.

Make sure you provide a link to the design that inspires you.

Use the keyword: IC162 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.

How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!

Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). A Swallow in Summer
Well, I ended up not using any of all the oh-so-suitable papers I have, because they are so dominant that it's hard to do anything other than origami with them. I had fun looking, and if I get time I'd love to come back to that gorgeous sunflower on navy.
