**Viva la Verve!--Week One {1/2/09}**

Today is the first day of the new weekly challenge I'll be hosting right here in the Contests & Challenges forum!
A few weeks ago, I polled you ladies on your favorite challenges and the overwhelming winner was SKETCHES! They're my favorite too, and it just so happens that I love to create sketches, so it's a perfect fit
There is, however, a "twist", if you will...sketches are fun but I thought it might be funner (I know that's not a word, just go with it) to add an additional requirement to each weeks' sketch. So there are really *two* challenges in one card! That ought to get the mojo flowing
Now we all know Julee is the most amazing, giving person EVER and it should come as no surprise that she's offering a prize to sweeten the deal!
There will be a new challenge posted each Friday morning. At the end of the month, we will choose one random winner from all of the challenges that month and that winner will receive the following months Verve release FOR FREE!!!! Isn't that worth playing for??? I think so!
I also wanted to give anyone who might be interested in designing a sample for the next weeks sketch challenge a chance to do just that! As I said earlier, I'm posting the challenges Friday morning. On Monday morning I'll select a participant who has already uploaded their Friday sketch challenge card. I will send the next Friday's challenge to that person and they will be featured on my blog and on the next Viva la Verve! thread with their sample card from the sketch. Sound fun? Alright then, lets get to it! This weeks sketch comes with a {twist} of hardware! That means that along with following the sketch, you must also have some sort of hardware on your card. It could be brads, eyelets, frames, bookplates, anything metal! You don't HAVE to use Verve stamps but if you've got em, USE EM

There is no real deadline to enter the weekly challenges since there will be one winner per month, but all cards must be uploaded before the deadline of the last weekly challenge of the month to be in the running for the Verve release! Please use keywords Verve and VLVJan01 when you upload your cards!
