Graduation Announcements
My 1st born son is graduating from High School in May and I want to make his announcements. My friend made her daughters a couple of years ago and they were beautiful. She has said I can CASE them, but I'm looking for ideas to do something different.
Any that you might have done or can direct me to would be appreciated. I've searched in the gallery and found a couple.
Thanks for your help,
Dawn

I will also be looking at any samples. My son graduates in June. I want to have an open house for him celebrating his transition to adult hood. Ideas?

I made my brother's college graduation announcements, and I actually cut out the Help Wanted ads from a paper and used them as part of the background paper. I also used the graduation cap that says "Finally!" underneath it from the Framed Greetings set. I know college is a little different, but these ideas may spark some of your own. Sorry I didn't keep a copy or I would post one.

I have been thinking the pocket card with the 2 pockets would work great, could put the picture in one pocket with the name placket under it and the announcement in the 2nd pocket

I had done my daughters, I bought the stamps when I started stamping 6-7 years ago. And I did it. They were pretty neat. I did 2 different ones. THen have done several since with other ideas. She graduated 2 yrs ago. If I was good enough, I could help you by loading them. But I dont know how. I have a scanner, and can never figure out what to do after i have them in a jpeg file. They were some of the first sets I bought and thought about doing her 8th grade grad. that next year and didnt, so determined I was to do it.

I love this square card with the tassel. I know this does not involve stamping and is not from the gallery, but I really think this card is sharp and simple to do, espcially if you need a large number. You could easily stamp class of 2005 or run the square throung a printer:

Graduation Announcement
Here is the one I am going to be doing for my DD who graduates this year. Portions of the invitation are under the grad hats as you pull them down. Green and gold are her school colors, thus the colors.

Maybe this will spark some ideas.

I would like to see some of the ideas too. I did look in the gallery under Tassel Time. There are several really cute cards there. I need to make almost 100 though and some are quite elaberate, or have the tassels which could get quite expensive.

Thanks for this site, it just ended my dimelma over making a card for my niece's graduation. I am going to meld the first two with a pre-existinging idea of shooting stars. I just can't wait to start now!
