LSC195 - Charlie & the Chocolate Factory
LSC195 – Charlie & the Chocolate Factory
Every Friday, we'll give you a list of things to use. It's up to you to make something from that, and only that!
This week, in light of this month’s Dirty Dozen/Fan Club Gallery theme, I chose one of my favorite (children’s) books as our LSC theme. (And Johnny Depp wasn’t bad in that movie – or Chocolat -- either – haha!)
Please put LSC195 as the keyword when uploading!
Limit: Your creation should have some sort of chocolate theme, either with color, stamp and ink choices, or embellishments
Stamps: any
(but themed ones would be fun: candy, cupcakes, chocolate “moose” for you Riley fans, hot chocolate, etc.)
Cardstock and ink: at least one shade of chocolate, plus any others – including white chocolate!
Embellishments and tools: any
Keyword: LSC195 (no spaces)
Again, “chocolate” does not necessarily mean chocolate candy. It is not limited to that! However, you need to have something in your card or project that you can call “chocolate”!
Samples – I had some unexpected things come up this week (like a new job!), so my good friends Juliana and Kelley are providing the samples and I will get mine made later today!
LSC195 Gallery Submissions
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges (including past challenges) at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!
Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!
1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
You're done!

This isn't a card but I think it meets the challenge requirements. I made these for my daughters baby shower, had a blast doing them.

Chocolate? No problem!
Mmmmmmm, I love chocolate.
My project is an altered clipboard. I hate to put anything on it to cover the beautiful paper.
Thanks for looking!

Because I just realized how close Thanksgiving is and that I need a few cards for family, I used Chocolate Chip cardstock for my base, Close to Cocoa for my layer and vanilla (chocolate) for my main image. Hope you like this card inspired by judylb!
