Bic Mark-It's 36 Pack for $10 ($19.99 before $10 mail-in rebate). I've been looking for a deal on either the Bics or Sharpies and stumbled upon this today. Hope someone can take advantage!!

Exclamation Save even more!

I went to their website: www.bicmarkit.com to read more on the marker and there is a box at the bottom of the page that says "Click Here for Savings".
You can print off a coupon for $3.00 off Bic Mark-It Markers, 24 pack or larger.

I will be running to Staples on Saturday for sure!!!

For those who do the Staples rebate - you can submit for the rebate online rather than mail in the form. The form is part of your receipt. Read through the instructions for online submission.

Be careful when printing out the coupon. My computer wasn't set to the correct printer when I tried to print and I got a printer error and the website's software doesn't allow you to select a printer during the printing process. I tried a couple of times to print before reaching my coupon "limit". Now I can't print the coupon at all. So I missed out on that! :( But the $10 deal wasn't so bad on it's own!!

You're right - it's a great deal. I have these markers and they work really well. Especially if you compare them to Copics which are $5.99 EACH at Hobby Lobby!

I couldn't get the coupon to print either but with the mail-in rebate it is a great deal! I have to head to Staples tomorrow anyway. Thanks for the heads up!

I've not heard much about these markers. Are they a less expensive alternative to Copics? Can you blend them with a copic blender? I may have to check them out. Especially for only $10!!
Thanks for the info!!

Ctychick - Do you know if that was an in-store promotion only? I pulled our insert out of sunday's paper and didn't see anything about it; also looked at Staples online and can't find mention of a rebate (did see the 36 ct pack is $17.99 online)... Wanted to check to be sure it's worth going out of my way to find a Staples! ;) Thanks!

I did the same thing you did.....checking on-line. When I did not see it I called the store and they do have them for the $19.99 with the $10.00 rebate. I just got back alittle while ago from getting mine. I really want the Copic Sketch but figured I'd try these for now while I save up to buy the Copics. HTH

I got the set of 36 bic markers at BJ's wholesale club for $9.99. No rebate form to fill out - that was their price for it.

Okay, girls, tell me if I managed a good deal! ;) I went online to Staples.com, printed out the page where you could buy the 36 count pack for $17.99 and took it to the store with me. Since the store price was $19.99, they price-matched the online price. So. I paid $17.99 minus the $3 coupon I printed from the Bic website (thanks, "paperhappy3"!) and then I got the rebate for $10. I will end up paying $4.99 for it when all is said and done! Woo-hoo!! :-D

Not sure why it's different for me...I even used your link and it still says $19.79 for one and if you buy 3 or more, it is $18.80...

Oh well, 36 markers for $6.99 after rebate and coupon is really great too!!

Well, if you're going to be in Staples again anytime soon, take a printout with your receipt and they'll refund it to you! My friend that went with me didn't print her BIC coupon out and they told her to bring it back with the receipt and they'd give her a refund for the coupon amount!

WooHoo! Thank you ladies!!

I had to meet someone at Staples after work today to sell some clothes to her. Pure luck got me to this post about 10 minutes before I left work. So after meeting my "customer", I took that $15 and went right in the store. With the printout from the internet and the $3 coupon, I paid $16.44. Came home, filled out the on-line rebate and the final price will be....$6.44!

Amazing!

Another "fyi". I posted my rebate online Friday afternoon as soon as I returned from lunch. I received the confirmation that it was received, and another confirmation that it was being PROCESSED before I even left work for the day! So I should get the $10 back from that pretty quickly! Geez. I LOVE getting good deals like this - it's a natural high!

It must be a geographical thing...I didn't make it to Staples yesterday as planned, but happened to look on-line this morning at home (about 25 miles from my work) and here it is showing the $17.99. Maybe in the city it is higher for some reason and way out in the far suburbs they give us a deal??

According to my receipt, Rebate begins: 8/25/08 and ends: 12/31/08

One of my markers is dried up (or was never filled with ink?). Bleh. I'm running out to exchange them today. I tried to call BIC but couldn't find a consumer number to call. I hate when companies only give you an email address.

Still played with them a little bit. There's definitely going to be a learning curve for me, but I think I'm going to like them when I get it figured out. Glad there are so many great tutorials from the folks here.

Anyone know if the sale is still on this week, or did I miss it and it ended yesterday? I have a bunch of friends who like these markers...but since I have the SU set, I didn't think I needed them, but for this price ... I do!!!

Thanks so much Beth.

Sorry about your troubles. That really stinks. :(

Smile Other packs have rebates too...

Well, I went and got mine yesterday. After online price match, coupon and rebate, 4.99!!

I also picked up one of the other packages that had a rebate too. They had a 12 pack of extra-fine that with the rebate and coupon, they came down to 2.99 (6.99-.50 coupon-3.50 rebate).

The colors in the 12 packs are all in the big 36 pack, so these extra-fine ones will be a great compliment to the 36 pk for getting into those small stamp details.

Happy Shopping!

HTH!!

Ugh! Now my Fandango pink is dried up in my new package. The lid doesn't seem to snap shut. I emailed Bic and hopefully they'll get in touch with me soon. Ugh!

That's no good! I guess I'll have to run home tonight and try mine - I didn't have time to "play" this weekend for working on plumbing issues!

Not to hijack this thread, but, what is your favorite way to use the Bic markers? Waterbrush? Blender pen? Gamsol and stumps? Something else?

I went out and got them, but now I'm at a loss what to do with them...LOL
