Where is the best place to find a Cuttlebug C Plate replacement??!!! Darn!!! I am always so careful since Mike's & HL don't carry the C Plate!! Then POP- it broke! Thanks!!:(
Go to Walmart and buy an acrylic cutting board the right size/thickness.....Even if you have to saw a bit off it to make it narrow enough to go the width of the CB, it is a quick fix.

Just as an FYI for the future.....I always cut onto the B plate. For example if it calls for ABC plates then I put the A on the bottom, C on top, dies and then B.
I didn't know this when I first got my bug so I thought I'd share incase you didn't know too.
If you break the B plates you can buy them in all the Big Box stores.
I tried getting one at joann.com a few days ago and it's out of stock. Everything arrived today but the C plate and there's a note on the packing slip that they don't know when it will be back in stock, so they adjusted the total. I'm bummed. I'd like to keep a C plate tucked away with my extra A & B plates, but I can't get my hands on one.
I just found out that joann.com may be out stock. What a bummer!
I think it is a little deceptive of them to process the order only to receive a notice in your package that it is on backorder or not in stock. They need to set up something so that when go to put an item in your basket if it is not in stock, it will tell you immediately!
I bought an extra set of Bs with a 40% off coupon at Mikes. Then broke my CB - and Provocraft sent me a new one - with new plates! SO .. I now have 2 extra sets of plates. Good thing, though. My original 2 B plates are getting "foggy" from so many cuts.

That's exactly what happened to me last week. Everything appeared in the cart at checkout, but when my items arrived a few days later (very quick shipping), the C plate wasn't included and there was a note on the invoice that it had been canceled from my order.
I just accidentally cut into my C plate. Is this okay? I've never seen the C plate for sale in Canada anywhere. Now I've ruined my C plate. Does anyone know where u can get a C replacement in Canada? Thanks!

If by "cut" you mean a die impression remains on the plate, it is not ruined. You can still use it, even with etching and "cuts" on it. The only thing that would really make me think my C plate was ruined is if it actually broke in two.
I think I even saw somewhere that someone broke their "B" plate and taped it back together with packing tape and kept on using it.

Scrappin' Great Deals in Ontario has C Plates in their online store.
When I broke my C plate, I was FRANTIC-siice I knew Mike's and HL didn't carry them...I had a similar problem-they were not in stock-or there seemed to be a limit on how many you could order. My friend and I (of course) needed at least one back up each!! That is why I was soo excited about Memory Miser! Got all we needed! Don't know if they keep a good amount in stock or if we were just lucky!
Update: I received my "C" plate from Joann's. I am suprised because I was under the impression that they were not in stock when I ordered. it. It worked out well because it was 40% plus I received 50% another item.
I called their customer service because I was going to cancel my order. The rep told me not cancel. She said if the item was out of stock, they would notify me via email first before shipment, so I would have the opportunity to cancel. She further said that alot of times the item is re-stocked by the time the order actually ships.
I have not broken a "C" plate, but have gone through a couple of "B"'s. I kept the pieces - they broke from side to side, and at first they were about half size. I used them when I was using a small CB die or Nestie - as the top layer of the sandwich. They worked fine and saved wear and tear on the good ones. I think the packing tape is also a good idea, as long as it is not too thick.

I picked up an extra C and also a set of B plates at Walmart the other day. They were a lot cheaper than Mikes. Good luck.
I've read and viewed the places that you all have recommended online.
And most of the places do not have the plates I'm looking for. Which is the "B" plates. Mine are getting worn really good. and I would LOVE to have some for back up in case I break one of them or both...
Where is the USA online can you find these plates? I have found alot of UK and AU places online.
Yesterday I found a C plate at Joanne's on Clearance for $4.00 and some embossing folders for $2.00 Which I picked up!
I have bought "B" plates ( they come in a set of 2) in Michaels and ACMoore and used a 40% off coupon.
Several on-line stores have them also, but then there is no coupon available and there will be shipping fees.
I always keep an extra set of B plates on hand as I live 2 1/2 hrs from the closest city. I did break my C plate a few months ago and the stationary store 45 minutes away ordered one in for me and it only took them a couple of days to get it in. http://www.7kidscollegefund.com/category_s/194.htm Carries all of the plates and they have fast service. I do find that it is a good idea to have spare plates around because Murphy's Law is that you will break it or need new ones when the stores are closed and you are in the middle of a project that needs to get done now.

I took the wise advice from a fellow Cuttlebug owner/friend and ordered a set of extra B plates when I bought my Cuttlebug. Now I'm thinking I may just order an extra C plate as well.
All the plates are shown on the above page link. Not sure about shipping cost, but it's an option if you have no other source for replacement and really need one.
Also...you may want to check Walmart online.

This won't help you in replacing your C plate, but I have NEVER used mine. I use 2 chipboard shims for embossing dies and 4 for cutting them out. The sandwich is: A plate - B plate - shims - die - paper - (rubber mat if embossing) - B plate. No C plate needed. And as the chipboard gets worn, they can be far easier to replace.
