Default How do you cut chipboard?

I only have a Cricut and I am wanting to try some chipboard but not sure what to use from around the house to cut it with. What do you use from around the house? Thanks.

I have found my SU craft and rubber scissors work GREAT!!!! Which is really nice since I don't use them on rubber very often now that the sets are die cut!

I use my cricut to cut chipboard with. I use cereal boxes & multicut and it works great. Any nice craft scissors can cut through chipboard.

Default Scissors

I came across a value pack of scissors at Walgreens for $5. It had about 5 pair of scissors in various sizes in a clamshell. I haven't seen the pack in there lately but I have seen single packs. I can't believe how good those scissors are. They will cut almost anything.

Another thing I recommend is to join the Fiskateers. Go to www.fiskateers.com and join and in a few weeks they will send you a great pair of scissors. It is also just a great group to join. Good luck finding what you need!

Hi, any suggestions for cutting small circles (for use in binding a boardbook) in heavy-ish chipboard? Thanks.

Cricut has a new deep cut housing and blade assembly that is suppose to work with magnetic, heavy cardstock and chipboard. I just picked mine up today but haven't played with it yet.

I just got my deep cut blade from JK Crafts yesterday. It works great in the Expression (will work in the original Cricut also).

Placed my order with JK late Sunday evening and received my order Wednesday morning US mail. Can't beat that service!
