Comparison chart for black inks with Copics?
Hi all,
I remember a post a while ago where someone had a brilliant comparison of different black inks with a yellow Copic marker... I've tried a bunch of search patterns but haven't been able to come up with the post. Does anyone know where I can find it? I hope it was on SCS that I saw it, otherwise it's from a blog I subscribe to (couldn't find it there either).
Thanks so much!
nina

That may be the blog you are thinking about...you have to look through the archives, but there is a page on which inks worked best with copics.

Oh sorry...I wasn't reading the whole thing about the photos...
This isn't the one either...since it uses a blue marker...but it's all I found.

Wow what fantastic info! I have both the Georgia Pacific and PTI paper and I just found the Momento ink.. and love it, so happy it was high on her list, as I don't need something new! Imagine that!

The Ellen Hutson one looks useful too - thanks 'cjbapp' for that link.
This is such a wonderful forum, everyone's so helpful. Now off to 'study' the article!

Memento Ink is the best! It never smudges or smears. It is a fairly new ink on the market. I love it over SU Ink, Memories Ink, Versafine & Stazon

Is there a trick to using the Memento ink? It bleeds on me on any area that I do a lot of blending on.

The paper. I used Georgia Pacific from Wal-mart and have had nothing but great results!
