Default 2-4-6-8 box

Can someone help me find the pattern for this box? I've heaard that it is fairly simple and that the "2-4-6-8" stand for the measurements, I'm just not sure what this is suppossed to look like.

It is really simple. I made over 100 of these for a bridal shower. I adjusted the template to be 1-2-3-4 (instead of 2-4-6-8 ) and filled them with 3 lindt chocolates. It is a real easy tempate to adjust for your needs... the 1-2-3-4 fit's chapstick/lipstick for children's grabs too!

Search in the gallery for 2-4-6-8 boxes and you'll be thrilled with the creativity of others!

Good luck!

The one I know how to make is a box that is a 2 inch cube. Cut two strips of cs 2" x 8.5". Score the strip at 2, 4, 6, & 8 inches. you will have a 1/2 section at one end.

Lay them out in a plus sign shape, so that the intersection is the second space down on the vertical one, and second one either way on the horizontal one.

Glue the overlapping section together. Glue the horizontal one together so the 1/2 inch section is on the inside. Fold the vertical flap up from the bottom, glue it to the front. The top square is the top of the box, and the 1/2" section tucks in for the flap.

Does that make sense?
