Totally OT... Who had a something about a Keurig in her siggy?
Whoever you are I want to Thank you a million times. I know this might sound stupid, but I have been searching for a decent cup of coffee from home for about 10 years. I was at the Dunkin donuts drive thru everyday, we were on a first name basis. I read your siggy and 2 days before I had just bought a bunn coffee machine. I had thrown the box out and I said there is another $150 thrown away. Then I remembered that I bought it at target and I returned it without the box. I went to BBB and bought the Keurig, in the pouring rain, I came home. Immediately set up the Keurig. It took a few seconds to choose my coffee because of the variety. Primed the machine, put in my K-cup and I was so HAPPY to finally make a cup of coffee in my house without spitting it out. So to the person who had it in her siggie I THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Ha! This is hilarious - I will pass this along to Paulette (plwwolfe) who you most likely saw with it! We are a group (PSF's) and there is a LOT of Keurig talk and ownership in our little group. (Not me, but I use mine at my local credit union - hehehe!)
Anyway, the girls will be so proud that we were able to steer you to a good cuppa coffee!! Enjoy!

Your post made me smile....
My mom could set up a coffee museaum. She has every kind of coffee maker made since the 70's. From the Percalator to the french press and more, she was always searching for the perfect cup of coffee. Her search ended with the Keurig!

I don't even drink coffee but I am a PSF that owns a Keurig - I love all the teas and my hubby drinks the coffee and the kids drink Green Mountain Hot Chocolate. I love having a coffee machine that I can make a cup of coffee for guests when they come over. I was very challenged before!!

Try dark magic, it's one of the bold brews. Do you have a machine? I can mail you a couple of K cups of it if you want.
My favorite is Nantucket, nice and smooth!!!

I love my Keurig - Sharon Harnist has one, and made a wonderful cup of coffee for me when I stayed over earlier this spring. It was so good and so easy I called my husband, and by the time I'd driven home from the airport, there was a machine of our own waiting at home!
I order my coffee & teas through http://www.alpinevalleycoffee.com/ and love the sampler packs - great way to try new flavors!

The person with the Starbucks/Keurig line was rgrohall, Rebecca! I saw it too and I PM'd her because I'm another Keurig fan - since April! I make my own homemade Iced Venti Nonfat Caramel Macchiatos with my Keurig and it saves tons of $$ (to spend on stamps, of course!).
There's lots of good places to buy K-cups, but I recomment Big Cat Coffees (just add the dot-com). You can make up your own sampler box (5 each of 5 kinds) there and that's how we found DH's favorites - and he likes STRONG coffee. Tully's Kona and Green Mountain Extra Bold Dark Magic. The Green Mountain is a tad stronger, but he loves both and he is PICKY about his coffee!
Hope this helps!
From another Keurig lover,

Jenn - I just checked out your coffee source! They have free shipping over $30, but the boxes are $3.50 more each than at Big Cat Coffees! Glad other stampers are enjoying their Keurigs!! Maybe we need a separate forum to talk about it! <G>

Dina - I was searching online and Sears carries both the machine and the K-cups. Then I was reading some reviews on the Sears website and someone mentioned Timothys.ca. The prices are good, shipping is free, and there's lots of variety. I'm thinking I may have just figured out my hubby's Christmas gift!

Dudes, can you gaurantee me that I will not have to buy another coffee maker after this? My husband is beginning to think that my coffee machine habit is as bad, if not worse, than my cardstock habit.

Here's my question are the K-cups recyclable after you use them?

This was me!! In the last 2 years I have bought and returned at least a dozen coffee machines. I promise you will not buy any other coffee machine again.
Much better than the senseo!!!

The Keurig totally ROCKS over the Senseo ... (ps if anyone wants a senseo - for the price of shipping its theirs!).
I ♥ my Keurig! The cup of coffee is head and shoulders over the Senseo, the machine is very easy to use and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the flavors of coffee you can get there are probably 1,000 flavors of Kcups vs. the limited senseo pods.

THere's no reason you couldn't recycle the k-cup itself - just let it cool, open the lid, toss out the grinds (or compost them!) and then throw the kcup into the recycle bin.
OR
buy the refillable kcup adapter for use with your coffee - and use it over and over and over again.
