Happy September!
I can't believe it's just a few short days until our next release! This month I cooked up a very special challenge for you. It's a 6 x 6 OSW (One Sheet Wonder) challenge. I've designed a template and four sketches for you to use. The challenge is to use one 6 x 6" square of double-sided designer paper (plus additional card stock) to make the four cards pictured in the sketches. Now, if you don't have double-sided paper, you can use two 6 x 6" single sheets, or you can make your own paper by stamping on the front and back side of a 6 x 6" piece of paper. In the sketches, the white panels are where you will place your focal stamped image, stamped on whatever cardstock or paper you choose. The most important rule is to have fun. Verve Stamps are not required, but if you've got 'em, why not give 'em some loving?
The PRIZES: TWO random winners will receive theentire September Release!!! (Five brand spankin' new sets, with a retail value of $63.)
And then FIVE other winners will randomly be chosen to receive one of the new sets.
The DEADLINE:
To be eligible, you must upload using keyword VSSEP08 and link to this post before Noon Mountain time (2 PM ET, 1 PM CT, 11 AM PT, 10 AM Alaska, 8 AM Hawaii) on Tuesday, September 9. Winners will be announced during our release party that night. You may upload the cards individually or as one photograph of all four cards, whichever you prefer.
So are you ready for the template? There's a one page pdf (VSSEP08_Template.pdf) attached below for easy printing on one page. I've also uploaded the sketches and the template to a special album in my gallery for those of you who can't see attachments or have problems with the PDF file. The individual pics of sketches 2 - 4 are attached in post 2 of this thread.
I'm so bummed. I'm home sick today so I actually had a chance to stamp. I finished the challenge but my computer isn't reading my disk from my camera. Boo hoo!! I'll try to upload later.

Hi Jennifer! *Waving!* So sorry you're sick, but glad you got to stamp! Can't wait to see your projects!
Hey Shelley! I haven't seen you around in ages! What have you been up to?
Hey Julee! Not much goin on here. Was in a total stampin slump for most of the summer. Just started making stuff again the last couple weeks. I did get a bunch of outdoor projects done this summer.
How have you been? Looks like the stamp biz is going well. I read your blog all the time, but for some reason my computer dosen't want to let me post on there.

Subscribing..........don't have Verve yet, but this is a great opportunity to win some and become addicted to yet another great stamp company!! Gonna give this a try if I have time!
I got my cards done! Yeah! This was definitely a big challenge for me Julee...I SO wanted to use more DP! I will have to try doing 4 cards with one 6x6 DP again soon. It is definitely a good way to get the most out of your DP!
Some great cards ladies!!! Here are my four cards. I loved these sketches and how wonderful to get 4 cards out of just a single 6 X 6 sheet. I will definitely be doing this again!!!
thanks for looking and thanks for the challenge. I am SURE some of your stamps will be mine soon.................

Mine are done and in my gallery (link in the siggy)- whew- thanks for the challenge. No verve stamps here (but would love to win some- I LOVE the Plain Janes verses you have used!)
I saw Joanne's (jojot) cards in the gallery and had to come check out your challenge. I don't have any Verve stamps (yet), but I'm definitely going to do this challenge.
ETA: Here's my entry in the OSW challenge. This is the link to all four cards:
Great challenge Julee! I have two done so far. I must be lame today as it has taken me hours to finish the first two! I had piled a load of pink/brown on my desk a week ago to do the project parade with and never got it done, so I am using that now. Better late than never!
THANK YOU SOO MUCH for that Challenge I am going to go again tomorrow! This is a GREAT way to use your DP for people like me who it hurts when you have to cut your DP!
