I am coming to the ho convention.... as a HO! Isn't that cool? I have to find mama to get my ho-ness done. Or whatever it is that you have to do to be an official ho!

LMAO! That would be funny! Tracey sent me a Birthday card and signed it "Hot for Teacher Ho" and my mom went crazy....and then she said, well, it IS a PRETTY CARD at least :cool:
OK, I do want a picture, what is Putt Putt, everyone says it's not golf, what the heck is it?
It's a plane, boat, little car, bicycle, and single cloud and then the sentiments are "putt putt putt putt putt", "hey there", and "sure do miss you". It's cute but for $24.95 I can find more than a few sets I would want more!
I have AC Moore and Michael's about 2 miles from me...let me know if you need more...
Not sure why folks like the sock monkey...growing up a friend of my grandmother made them for us every year for bdays, Christmas, graduations etc....way too many sock monkies! Do you ever watch Carol Duvall on HGTV she has lots of them too.

lol everyone but me had one growing up. When I was about 19 or 20, my boyfriend at the time- his mom made them and I told her I wanted one b/c I never had one, and she made me one, I still have it and I love it. So maybe I wasn't as burned out on them!

I Know it's an old concept - just seeing it for the first time and think it's cute...

Ummmm, not to burst a bubble here but.... you CANT be a Ho without Mama doing her "Ho-ness" All are welcome to chat and gather but this is a Ho Down so you are expected to earn the Ho title as some have had to and MAINTAIN HO STATUS AS MOST are doing....to the best of their ability people are earning Mama some $$$$$ on the corner..... Remember you are still freshly recovering from a situation and trust is hard to gain back....
Yeah... I say for each unexplained flaking, you need like 10 successful timely swaps to get back into good graces. Then there's the three strikes law:mrgreen:

Doesn't columbus have an AAA team????
We use to have the Yankee's but these past two years have been the Nationals...This is the last year for them though...They are trying desperately to get Cleveland from the sounds of everything... plus NY there will be a new stadium, and it will be in Downtown by the Hockey areana...expect sell outs for the begining part of the season... I wanted to see about getting season tickets...b/c the kids love going...

will see if we can find one w/ ajoining rooms...if not across the hall or next to each other....see...across the hall is good if the hallway has a/c then you can leave doors open and run back and forth...LOL...
Manda & Heather - I know ya are in the columbus area...but I sent an e-mail out to a person I know who owns a baseball tour company - so a major part of his business is booking rooms for groups. I asked him for suggestions of any hotels in columbus that has treated his groups well in the past. He's done the tours for 25+ years, so I am sure he will have some good suggestions (especially if there are any hotels to avoid!). I'll post here when I hear back if there are any good tips to share!
thanks...I wanted to keep it in the Easton Area b/c of the walking distance to stores and restaurants...that way there are less that need to drive, and worry about directions...plus it is still close to the air port, and a nice area. I am about 15 min max from there and I pass 3 hotels to get there, but I wanted it to be a little nicer than the ones I pass...not that they are bad, but they are not in walking distance to anything!
I am so glad I know better than to drink while reading you all...

Talked to DD and she would like to come, but doesn't understand why we will probably drive instead of fly. (I mapquested Heathers addy, which says if nobody eats or pees we should be there in 11 hours and 12 minutes)
So, I still can't say definite, but am getting closer.
We would need roomies that are willing to forego nuts for the weekend, and I not talking metaphorically...
you never know flights may go down as it gets closer....
I had the oaky to drive to this being it was not to far......thinking it was going to be late spring/early summer..........but now seeing the dates there will probably be no way to make it............those are our county fair dates and my oldest daughter will be showing her projects and cattle. I don't even think I am going to subscribe to this thread because I don't want to hear of all the fun that is going to be happening oh so close to me it will make me even more depressed......Hope you all have fun........the list of who is coming is everyone I wanted to meet :(
