FLOURISHES FEATURED STAMPER #1 -- NEW!!!
I LOVE to play games -- and I LOVE to see what all of you do with Flourishes images, so that's how our new FLOURISHES FEATURED STAMPER evolved.
This will be a weekly event, running each week from Monday morning until the following Sunday night at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time. All you have to do to enter is make a card with any Flourishes image as the main focus of the card, upload the card using the common Flourishes keyword of FLLC, then come back to this post to tell us you played and provide a link. That's it!!! You may play as many times as you like during the week -- there are NO limits to how many times you enter.
Then on late Sunday night (or maybe early Monday morning), I will go through all the entries and select one as the winner. It will NOT be a random drawing. I will select the winner based on something that I really like about the card (or project, it need not be only cards entered) -- and it could be anything at all that strikes me that evening -- I'm not looking for anything special -- just great cards using FLLC images. I will then post the winner on this thread on Monday morning, AND, here's the good part --
THE WINNER will have their card featured on the Flourishes Newsletter Blog, with a little story written by me as to why I chose the card, what I liked about it, etc. That is the immediate reward of winning that week; however, there's more --
THEN on the 1st of each month, the names of all the winners from the preceding month will be thrown into a hat and a name will be drawn from the hat as the Monthly Winner. The Monthly Winner will recieve a gift from Flourishes -- one stamp set of their choice plus a ribbon bundle package!!!
So, how does that sound? Now, since we are nearly at the end of the month and June 1 is fast approaching, the name of this week's winner for May will be saved and thrown in the hat with the June names, so the first Monthly Winner will be announced on July 1. That gives many of you an opportunity to get your name thrown into the hat for the prize drawing!!! How fun!!!
Current Flourishes Design Team Members are NOT eligible to play to win, but retired or past Design Team Members are welcomed and encouraged to play!!!!
IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: NO CHATTER ON THIS THREAD!!!
This thread is ONLY for posting that you played and linking your card -- otherwise it gets too hard to sift thru all the chatter to find the links.
A new thread is being started momentarily for chatter on our Flourishes Featured Stamper.
Edited 5/25/08 -- I edited the above -- I had the cut off time for entries each week at midnight on Sunday night -- I just changed that to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday night. So any entries after 6:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Sunday evenings will go in with the following weeks entries -- sorry -- but 6:00 works better than midnight -- don't know what I was thinking -- LOL!!!

I think the rules say that this is where I post my link. I'm still in love with the Siberian Iris. The name of this one is Flutter by Butterfly -- http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...0&ppuser=72594

One more!!! I only have two flourish sets, plus a Christmas set so I'm really trying my brain cells here. I guess it's time to purchase another set! http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&ppuser=140771

I made a few more cards, this one is a flap card
http://splitcoaststampers.com/galler...&ppuser=122133
I used the tutorial on SCS under resources, I didn't have any magnetic snaps so I used a prima to hold the flap in place.

I did move the reply over to the proper thread -- but I see we missed some from last week and earlier --
