WT166, Ways to Use...INCHIES!
Hello!! I am so excited to be filling in for Julia this week! She thought it would be fun to do INCHIES! They are SO popular right now and are starting to pop up all over!
Don't own any inchies? Well, me either! I just picked out my image and then cut it into 1" pieces! I figure that works! (at least I certainly HOPE so!)
Here is my sample: SUMMERS PARADE
Shel9999's Sample: Make a Wish
Julia's Samples: Hometown Pride Flag Pendant and Petite Bebe
Mona Lisa's Sample: Inchie Trio
I cannot WAIT to see what you all come up with!! Make sure to put WT166 in your keywords and link back here so we don't miss your cards!!
*ETA* HERE is a link to the WT Gallery!

Get back to work, Amber!! Hehehe, I'm just kidding. Good thing for you SCS isn't blocked by the firewall, huh?
I figured inchies were just 1x1-inch square pieces of paper that you stamp on, I didn't know you could BUY them. But I'm thinking if I participate in this challenge, I'll just make my own on a paper trimmer! Or, better yet, use a punch...

OOPSE! Sorry about that! I agree with Christy, I think they are just lil' stamps, or lil' 1 x 1 pieces of paper. here is a link to a project that Trudee did... http://trudee.blogs.splitcoaststampe...nchie-magnets/

bwahahaha, you lil punk, way to call me out! But yeah, good thing it's not firewalled, lol! I think I may separate if they ever block SCS! It's bad enough I can't see blogs!!!
Okay, well I was at first a lil hesitant about this challenge because I've never made inchies, but I actually had fun and LOVE my card Thanks Lindsey, it was a great challenge!

Nice to know I'm not the only one who wasn't clued into inchies. I've seen them mentioned before, but I too thought it just meant you cut you paper that size. I will definitely have to look for these.

I knew I should have waited to see if I could combine some challenges this week. I just made this last night for the sketch challenge, and I used one of the inchies I received in a swap:

so all an Inchie is is a piece of paper cut into a one-inch square? They actually sell that? This is the first I'm hearing of them, but I'm just wondering why anyone wouldn't just cut up a piece of paper or punch a piece of paper into squares themselves? hmmmm

The ones you can buy are often a heavy board style (you can get Stampbord inchies, too) - I still favour a steel rule and a blade but I guess not everyone is comfortable with that!

Ok, I have two questions. 1. I have 1 1/4" square punch. Can I use this?
2. If yes to #1, could I use my circle punch, or does it have to be square?
Thanks!

I love the inches label sheets for a project like this. Just stamp your image and then peel and stick! If you can't find the inch label sheets you could use larger mailing labels then stamp, cut and peel and stick. Too easy!

Inchies are 1" but I'd say if you don't have them just cut them with your paper cutter like others have done.
As for a circle...hmmmm not sure....lol
I'm off to make something soon too! Thanks for the challenge!
