Default Copics on Tiles?

Does anyone know if you can use the Copic markers to color in stamped images on ceramic tile? I have some great chicken stamps that look good with normal permanent markers, but would love GREAT if Copics would work.

Let us know how it turns out! I haven't tried them and all my tiles are packed in a box in my box room (in between 2 moves and I'm not unpacking a lot!) or I'd try it for you!

I tried them on tiles once but wasn't that pleased with the outcome...I prefer plain ol' Sharpies, myself!

Can you elaborate? Did the colors not stay true? Did they run? Were they just harder to use?

I'm reviving this thread in hopes of getting more answers since I was going to ask the same question. Any one else have experience with copics on marble tiles?

I making some tiles right now for my Saturday show, actually Farmer's Market where I am artist of the week. I sold majority of my tiles on few previous shows, so I need new ones
I don't own copics, but I have Prismas, I color my tiles with them and I love how they come out. After that I seal the tiles with acrylic fixative.
I have my first tile I have made at home for testing, I have run it through water, hot and cold, washed it with sponge and soap, put hot coffee, cold ice cream. The tile is like the first day I made it.
I love the results and I have sold quite few of them.

I know someone asked about what kind of sealer I use, in this or another thread. Here is the pic of the Ultra-Clear Acrylic Coating I use, it's Utrecht store brand and it's $3.99 for 11oz can, very inexpensive!
