Hi everyone, just a quick question, Lol. I have heard of people talking about nestabilities could someone please explain what they are? (i'm in Western Australia) and have never seen them. I love the scallop circles and was wondering if I should purchase the nestabilities (if they sell them in aussie). Also what machine would you need to use them with?
Thanks for your help.
They can be used in the Wizard (made by Spellbinders), Sizzix Big Shot or Big Kick, and Cuttlebug machines - and I also think they can be used in the original red Sizzix die cut machine but I'm not 100% sure.
There is a compatability chart on the Spellbinders website so check that out.
Debbie, I'm in the UK and the Nestabilities are readily available here so I don't see why they wouldn't be available in Australia. If not though, there are bound to be US stockists that will ship to you - if they're in stock that is! They always seem to sell out very quickly!
Hi Debbie, I am in Victoria and I use my nestabilities in my Big Shot. I LOVE THEM ! You can check out a couple of items I have made with them in my gallery. I bought mine from my friends LSS here in Melbourne, but like everyone else she is waiting on stock delivery at the moment. Her shop is called Heaven Scent in Croydon, Victoria. I bought the circles and ovals, straight and scallops in small sets (not petite) now I am waiting on the large to come in. pm if you would like her full details
thankyou all for your help. I have emailed Spellbinders to find out where in Perth I might find them. How much do they cost in aussie dollars does anyone know? again thankyou for your replies.
I love the daisy tin you did, it's amazing what you can do with these dies.
Hi Kathleen, if you could I would like the details of the shop from which you bought them as I tried to look for them on the net as well as Spellbinders but couldn't find them. (maybe it's just me and my computer skills)LOL.
Debbie
Hi Debbie
How did you get on with your quest for finding nestabilities in West Australia?
It seems quite tricky to find them anywhere in Oz. I bought a set of small circles from Stamp Craft Studio in Aspley QLD the other week and they had a few in the range. I think other local stores where waiting on shipments and hoped to get them in stock late April. I think in terms of the Aussie dollar it might be more cost effective to order them from the states yourself but I would like to know others thoughts on stores they have had good experiences with before I did that.
That said, Fat Cat card corner is an Australia mail order company which sells the scallops for $27.
Hope that helps. They look lovely, don't they? I use mine with my cuttlebug and a tan mat.
Sandra
I bought my 4 sets here at a LSS (Melb) but she only got in a few sets and now like everyone else is waiting on them to come in again.
I thought I might get them quicker through the US so I ordered 4 sets from ucutathome and even with the 40% off coupon but having to pay for postage I will pay the same as here give or take a dollar.
I am just hoping I will get them sooner odering from them.
That's good to know, I think! I hope you get your nestabilities soon Kathleen.
I also found another site called http://www.bizzybecscardmakingscrapbooking.com.au
which is an online store based in Western Australia that sells a wide range of the nestabilities. She also has the same trouble with waiting and availability. Everyone must want them at the moment. HTH. Sandra

Availability of Nestabilities
I live in NSW. and though I can get them in Australia, I get them from Cut @ Home in America. With the 40% discount coupon available from them every month, I find it much cheaper and they will even hold it over to the next month so I can get two 40% off coupons and still only pay one shipping fee (which is $22 approx) by the way. This basically allows me to get the dies for cheaper than what I pay here including postage. By the way I have one set of the plain circles & one of the scallop circles, the full set of ovals and the one set of the scallop rectangles (as I reckon & am quite successfully cutting the plain rectangles to fit inside the scallops when desired. Next on my order is the long rectangles (again just one set of the scallops) and I think I also want the squares and am seriously considering one of the buckle sets (not a nestabilities). Does anyone have a buckle set? I think I would love to use it with ribbons on my cards!:-D
I am also in Perth and have had some great success in getting my nestabilities from here.
Bec has to order them in so they can take a couple of weeks to come in, her prices are pretty good and she often runs sales insite. I order some last week at % off and they have come up saving me about $25.00. Still way cheaper than any LSS.
If you are happy to wait, cheap postage is great, then she is probably a fair person to visit.
