LSC161 - Why, oh why...
Why oh why… did I buy THAT!?! If you’re like me, you have a lot of embellishments that don’t get used. Most of it was collected from when I was just getting hooked and I had to have it all but couldn’t afford it… so I went to the dollar hot spots. Yup… I have some REALLY “fancy” ribbon that was on clearance…. And sometimes I splurged without thinking it through… like on the primas that I never use. I know, I know. Primas are great…. But shades of mustard??? What was I thinking? LOL!
Or maybe you didn’t buy the unloved embellishments but received them as gifts. You were oh so thankful… while you were thinking, “How am I going to use THESE?” Yup… I have never used even one of my many flower eyelets… until today!
OK... If you’ve read this far, you get the idea of using unloved embellishments.
BUT…. That’s not all. I don’t want you to make any old card just to complete the challenge. You might end up looking at that card next week and dislike it as much as the embellishments. Everyone, well most everyone (Barb), loves and is immediately drawn to the floral cards. So, I want you to use your unloved embellishments on a card with flowers!!!!
Keyword: LSC161
Uploading: When uploading, please tell us which embellishments were unloved. And remember the keyword without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.

Yea, Jen, this really has hit a funny bone!! I've got a bunch that I purchased before I knew what my mojo was. Ribbon for sure and charms and rub ons, and gawdy plastic gems and cutsie brads and . . . . . . . .
Playin' tomorrow for sure!!! AND taking a peak at everyone's else's treasures too! After all, one stamper's garbage, another stamper's treasure!!! Maybe we can make a SWAP out of this!!!!!!

You must not have a dollar store nearby! This is a great challenge, as I have lots of dollar store items that got used once or not at all!

What a fun and useful challenge! I have tons of stuff--some I still have hopes of using in some way, but I'm sure I can spare a white elephant or two!! Now, I just need to find some time...

This will work for me.... I've been looking at some of my stuff from last year and thought "What in the World was I thinking!!" Now I'll see if I can use some of that up with a nice flower.

I actually had a bit of trouble finding anything to use for this challenge....I've been offloading all my "what was I thinking?!?!" supplies to buy SU! stuff!
I used an epoxy sticker from this little collection I've got going on. I have some funky coloured stickers in my stash!
Hey there Sugar!
Thanks for the great challenge!
