You've been extremely helpful! I just recently started getting into the clear stamps. I purchased the Ultra Clean after reading on SCS how good it is; especially with Staz On stains. Never knew that it was safe for the clear stamps. Now, I can spend money on something else instead of more cleaner!
I use CTMH's double scrubber and spritz cleaner and they work great. I've been told that rubber stamp cleaner doesn't work as well on acrylics, but I don't have any rubber stamps so I don't know. I do water down the spritz cleaner so it lasts longer. I also use Stazon cleaner on stubborn inks.
Believe it or not, I use Wet Ones, but you have to be sure they are the Extra Gentle ones "light green container" they have no lanolyn in them. That's what damages your stamps. It's inexpensive, there are 40 in a container and if you put them in a ziplock bag they will last for several uses.
I use Hero Arts ultra clean and no matter what anyone says that the acrylic stamps will not stain, they do. Some brands clean better than others, but even when I clean the stamp immediately, if its a permanent ink there is a chance that the stamp will not come clean. BTW - the ultra clean removed the paint from grid acrylic blocks, waaaaaaaaa. But I do love acrylics. they say the acrylics will last as long as rubber, I wonder if that is true?
I use Simple green, available in the automotive section at wal-mart, diluted 1part SG to 10 parts water and it work like a dream on rubber and clear! If my acrylics lose their cling I wash them in dish soap, rinse and air dry and thet cling like new, I don't need to do it often though.
