WOW!! Thankyou Sweet Jennie for that very kind intro!
Hi girls! I would say good morning.. but that's kinda weird for you guys.. as it is Thursday night where y'all are. I can give you all the tip that Friday is just BEAUTIFUL!!!
I live in Brisbane Australia.. and we are in the throws of a HOT day with temps in the mid 30's C. I live with my partner of 20 years and husband of nearly 16.. Paul.. and our two girl,s Georgie ( 12) and Bella(9), our two cats, Boo boo and Rueben and a dog, Dougal.
I have been scrapping for 9 years and stamping for about 6 of those. I adore colour, and fun, laughing and a good glass of wine. My main aim is to encourage women to be the amazing , fabulous people I know they are.
I also love a chat! LOL
anyhoo lets get on..
It is 10.30 am here.. and I have just finished breaky and negotiated uploading my images to the gallery.. ( fingers crossed..)
here is the link : :(
OOOkay .. I am having trouble getting my link to accept.. so i will forward it to Jennie and she might pop it on for us! ))
My project is an index for unmounted ( and mounted if you wish..) stamps.. so you can see an image quickly and easily. I found that the more stamps i acquired.. ( ahem..) the harder it was for me to remember what it was I had.. this remedied that.
My challenge to you all to create a collage using LOTS of different stamped images.. like I did on the cover of the index in the images. You can use this collage on wall art, or a card, or a scrapbook layout, or and atc.. or what ever your artistic heart desires!!!
Ahh! Cool thanks Jennie!)
Please let me know if you have any questions , chickies.. i will be happy to try to answer them.
also if you were interested..my blog has a whole heap of ideas, fun, crapola and cool links too..
come say hi!
just google : Blog me baby. ( forgot about the url thing..
peace.
Ngaire
PS I guess I should explain my name???
it is pronounced NIGH-re and is a traditonal Maori name from New Zealand..( I am not however, from New Zealand... nor am i to my knowledge Maori! LOLOL My dad was a world traveller before I was born.. and heard the name, and loved it.. and gave it to me.
Great idea--this is definitely what I need. I hope to get some time to make something like this. Busy week ahead!
My sweetie and I are planning a visit *down under* in April to visit a friend we met online several years ago and who has visited us and other online friends in the U.S. 4 times over the past 6 years! He lives in Sydney. We live in Phoenix, Arizona and I think the weather in April there will be much like what we're having here right now. 60-75 degrees F. We're sure getting excited!
Oh my goodness!!! Ngaire, that stamp index is amazing!!! Way to go girl!

Thank you so much for the inspiration! I love your work, Ngaire (and I LOVE your name). I keep a scrap sketch book in which I play around with new stamps, try new techniques and record ideas - your book inspired me to pretty it up a bit, decorate the outside and put tabs inside. Anyway, that's not what I'm posting, I just wanted to thank you for the idea.
I'm posting for two challenges - this one and SBVC17 2.28.08 Stamping on Flowers. The two just went together so well for me. I used stamps from at least four sets, if not more. It was fun, thanks again for the artistic direction.
I just got around to checking out all of the awesome layouts for the challenge! Wow! Thank you to everybody for participating, and huge thanks to Ngai for coming to visit!
Also want to add: We'll be staggering the Scrapbook Variety Challenge and the Scrapbook Diva Designer Challenge, so each one will be every other week starting with this week
