WT151 - Design Staples
Well a stapler may not be a design staple but you know I just can't resist having a little fun with titles for these challenges.  Today I'm asking you to pull out your staplers and have a little papercrafting fun. I haven't been using mine as much lately and as I know...almost everyone should have one...I thought it would be a great challenge. So staple some embellishments, some paper, transparencies or simply just accent a design element. Regular office staplers are great but you can also use designer style staples if you happen to own a Fastenator or other such contraption.  Have fun with it and be creative! I loved all the fabulous ideas from the paint challenge last week!
Please remember to put WT151 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your work! Remember this is a challenge not a contest. Upload as many samples as you wish for as long as you wish but please use new samples created for this challenge.

I haven't used staples in awhile on a card. I always get negative feedback from DS (he's 19). But what do guys know?

I am off to the school this morning to tally science fair scores,then off to lunch with friends, so I will have to wait to get started! My staples have been neglected as of late, so I am excited to do this challenge!

ok, I am on it...I use staples a lot when I have no better way to really adhere something to mmy card, so I will try to come up with a more inventive use for them, thanks Julia!

I think I say this nearly every week...but Julia, you ROCK!! I have the Fastenator and I NEVER use it...THAT IS WHY I LOVE THIS CHALLENGE!!! Off to play and thanks again for yet ANOTHER great challenge!!!

LOL I agree Melody! What DO they know? My hubby HATES my freestyle stitching and now he doesn't like the buttons I'm using. "when did you ever get a card in the mail with a button on it? " I just go ahead and do my thing. |

Sold my Fastenator at the last garage sale, never could get the hang of that thing...will have to drag out the regular stapler and see what I can come up with, lol!

Hi everyone! Julia, I love this challenge! I finally got to use my Fastenator! However, I advise everyone to wear shoes while using this tool and NOT to accidently drop the staples on the floor! LOL! OUCH!@%$%$&&^*&^
