Feb Month Scrappin' Challenge #4 - This is NOT vsbn
CHALLENGE #4- Have you ever looked back through your scrapbooks and realized....there's not very many picts of YOU in the book?! LOL! This challenge is all about making sure we're in there too....so....scrap a l/o that has at least 1 picture of YOU included!!
Bonus Points for a black & white or sepia photo. Also, bonusfor some doodling. Get out those pens and add some little touches or your doodle stamps...

Third challenge is harder for me... With five teenage boys you would think that I had pictures of lots of trends, fads and fashions... But, since I don't like many off them right now (referring to trends not the boys!) I don't really have any pictures of that kind of stuff. So I will have to think about it. Challenge 4.... Okay, I'll be right back... I have a fun page for this one!

Yup, I'm so happy my boys haven't gotten too "trendy" at least not yet...I can deal with some of the "trendy" stuff they like....I'm working on an Ipod page

Somehow I just knew that you would have this challenge! Even though I've thought about it all day, haven't come up with any ideas! I'm always behind the camera!
I have completed challenge 1--that's all! Will go back to that thread and try to upload a thumbnail. Never did that before! Will try to follow your instructions.

Girls, Ladies, Dudettes..... might I suggest that a photo of YOURSELF is in order if you cannot find yourself anywhere other than in a family group photo!!!
... are you not beside the Christmas tree in your bathrobe? Is there no photo of you on the sidelines cheering your daughter on, or sitting huddled under a blanket watching son's football game?!
If not...I ask you, ney, I CHALLENGE YOU...tote your camera around, in your pocket or around your neck, and take at least FIVE PHOTOS OF YOURSELF THIS WEEK. FIVE. Yep, five. I find the angle of taking a self portrait does wonders for my jawline, if that motivates any of you at all!  Most of us are digital....snap away... then, I CHALLENGE YOU to print off THREE and scrap them before this SCS '08 Challenge is through. I think you'll REALLY excel at this challenge and will then do an album all about you...yes, I think it's true and overdue...all about you...see, it's poetic!

What REALLY helped me is when I learned to use the "TIMER" on my digital camera!! If you haven't learned to do that yet, DO IT! It's SO much easier to get myself in the picts with the timer....

...two page spread, two colour pics of me...I actually had several to choose from... tee hee... yep.... I discovered a year ago that there was little proof of my existence...over-correcting, perhaps!?!?!
Off to get kidlets to bed, it's 7:43 pm here and DH is whining about the lack of help, "I thought it would be a 1 hour thing, maybe even just 20 minutes, you never said..." Dude, you never asked!

CK, I've been "over-correcting" for the last 3 months because I found the same thing! Hardly any picts of me in their books! Lots of picts of me now
I'm laughing because I've been there....on the conversation between you and DH. "You never said....You never asked"....LOL! YUP! said that before. I've never called him "Dude" though? Hmmmm

Ok, kids have been fed and put to bed, (until Zeke gets up wanting to nurse again..) DH is fed and in bed, I've been to the gym (2 1/2 more weeks of just walking and then I actually get to exercise again!) now I just have to find food for myself and then I'm off to scrap!
I was hoping we would have a challenge like this because I'm working on a page of my for a dt application right now! yea! I get to finish what I'm working on and count it for a challenge! |

lol, you'll have to get someone else addicted. It's just too much fun to be able to go shopping and such together and to have someone else that's actually excited to see my work! As for the gifts...she still ends up with them sometimes! lol |

Before I nail this down.....
This page is missing "something" except I don't know what that something is. I want to do my journaling on the next page. I used my favorite stamp set of all time--Doodle this and the photo corner punch. This picture is going to go in my: WHAT'S UP WITH THAT HAIRDO? album.....ugh.
Child abuse is what that was....I remember the hairspray and the clippies? remember those little metal things? Ick ick.

LOL! I think it's SO cute! I have a couple of those picts also... Not sure what you think is missing...I like it. Could put a little sub-title box top left or bottom right corner and draw out a little color from your background paper?
 You could have used this one for challenge #3...trends, LOL!! I'm sure there are lots of Hairstyle trends in all those picts your Mom has you could scrap!!!
