Title: Everyone Needs Closure Hostess: Jimmi (jpmayo) Keyword: JAN08VSNM Day/Date: Saturday, January 19th Time: 6:00 PM EST
Ladies, have you ever been through a break-up or a hard time and you just needed to talk it over with your girlfriends because they are the only ones that would understand and give *closure* to the situation...?
Well, my challenge for you is to use any stamp set and any technique, just make your closure unique!
Some examples of cards with different types of closures are: Gate Cards, Z Fold Cards, Buckle Cards, Petal Cards, Trifold Cards, Flap Cards, Tent Cardsjust to name a few, phew!
You can use Velcro, ribbon, Hodgepodge Hardware, punched shapes, or anything else you can imagine, to close your cards.
Most importantly, have fun and if you have any questions, please ask!
***ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 11:00 PM EST ON SUNDAY, JANUARY 20th***
Uploading Instructions:
*You have 45 minutes to complete this challenge.
*Please remember to put in the correct keyword when uploading your image. If you are using additional keywords, you must separate them with a comma. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
*It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in the chat thread, in case the gallery is being testy.
OK--just finished: The reason I keep describing my cards is so that if they ever do become uploads you will know I sent what I made during the challenge.....
USed dark gray Bazzil textured
Made center opening card
Used "kiss" technique--you know ink, stamp on scrap, stamp on CS
Used "SU In the Wild set" black ink all stamps except elephant
Used Versamark and added a stamp that just says "Wild" in a psuedo script in many places on the card
Inside black ink---May the serenity of the wilderness be with you forever.
Stamped elephant in Going Gray on Going Gray....cut him out carefully
Adhered his posterior to the left side on the card, punched a pinhole opening for a brad in the right side(supposed to look like the croc is biting his trunk,,,)
slid curl of trunk under brad.
Added "thumbprint" black around all outer edges of card just because I felt like it.
