Wanna read something that may change your life?
I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot or not, but here goes...
My sister and bil are on the journey of their life and there blog is the most amazing read. My sister has Cystic Fibrosis and was in the process of getting evaluated for a double lung transplant when they found out they were miraculously pregnant. Against all their doctors advise, they choose to keep their baby and the journey of a lifetime began...full of hope, fear, trust in their God ending in an emergency Csection at just 24 weeks gestation. Come and join over a 100,000 who have been checking their blog. It may just change your life.

If you go onto Jessica's blog: Musings from the Minivan, she has the various blogs to read about the story further.

I somehow stumbled across this blog, added it to my favorites and have been checking it multiple times a day. Your sister and BIL sound like amazing people.
Many prayers for Tricia and Gwyneth being said from Indiana!

Thank you so much, Sue. It's amazing how word has traveled all over the world. My BIL put a cluster map on the sidebar of his blog and it has been mind blowing to see people from all over the world who are praying.

Truly amazing
I've been keeping up with Tricia's story and Nathan has even left a message on my blog. I have a card already made to send to baby Gwyneth at the hospital. I'm on prayerful pins and needles to see how Dad will handle the next day, and each day I'm amazed at the grace with which this loving dad/hubby handle what Dad gives him. I've been truly blessed by watching this precious little family grow. God bless you all, I wish you the very best. (((HUGS)))

Aw, thank you so much Heather. That is so sweet. Yea, I must say, Nathan is one in a million. You should have been at their wedding to hear the vows they wrote for each other. Not a dry eye.

Oh, boy... that picture of his wedding band on the baby's arm, big enough to be a bracelet... astounding. Thank you for posting. I will pray. God is good.
A family friend just lost twin girls at 24 weeks along this past week. They just couldn't make it. Please pray for the parents of Tabitha and Lydia, who flew home to be with God after being held just once in their parents' arms.

My friend had a baby girl who was born so small that she, too, could put her wedding ring on the babies arm. The good and hopeful news is that that little girl is now a 23 year old woman who is in great health and will certainly make her mark on the world in her life. Our prayers are with your family.

Totally in tears here, I am about 24 weeks pregnant so seeing the little baby who is about as old as my little one inside is very close to my heart. They will definitely be in my thoughts, and in my prayers.

Thanks Kristina and Pam for your prayers. I just got a call from my sister that Tricia's eyes are now open a lot more and when she hears someone's voice she knows she turns towards them. They are trying to balance how sedated to keep her so she won't reject the vent, with letting her be as alert as she can to what is going one. It's killing me to not be there

Thanks so much, MassStamper. I just got a call from my sister who says they are slowly backing down the sedation meds. They also switched her to a different vent and she is responding well and they were able to lower her level of dependence on it.

I have been praying since I found out about this story about a week ago. I think I spent an hour looking at everyone's blog involved. I even added a little blip on my blog so let others in. What an inspirational story of faith.
{{{hugs}}}} for you as I know it is hard to be far away again while things are still going on.

I cannot believe that you posted this! I just happened onto their website last night - I was reading a blog of a couple who lost a baby with HLHS and they requested prayer for your sister and her baby. I went to your BIL's blog and read for hours. They will be in my prayers.

I know! It is killing me that I can't be down there right this minute. Oh to be a fly on the wall while Nathan gets to explain and I'm sure re-explain...bc she is still kind of groggy...all that has happened this past month.

I know, right? I'm so happy I could burst. Now that she is feeling stronger, she can email and text to my cell phone. it's been amazing to get to "talk" to her again after spending a week with her when she was heavily sedated. She did have a slight fever this morning, that I hope is nothing, but it could mean the start of an infection---so not good. He just updated for prayer for that. I was able to book a flight down in a few weeks to see her and the babe with my older kids. They don't know we are going and have never even been on a plane before. I can hardly wait Thanks for your interest and prayers, Mass Stamper

Looks like Nate got to HOLD Gwyneth yesterday (or the day before)? Wow!
I'm still praying!

Penny...thanks for the bump. Tricia is doing great and is waiting to hear when they will list her for her double lung transplant. Thanks so much for your prayers!
Here's an online article someone wrote about Nate, Tricia and Gwyneth. She gets payed by the page view and has promised to give all proceeds to Tricia's trust fund to help pay medical expenses. If you wanna check it out... click here.

I know. Nathan is making me spend too much money at iTunes. What a beautiful song for parents. Be praying for Tricia..she is having a hard day. She didn't sleep well last night and is just plain worn out. My younger sister is with her this wkd so I'm hoping that will be a nice distraction for her and she can get through the wkd and get listed on Monday morning. In that area, transplants can happen really fast...days even. So she just needs to hold out a little longer.. thanks girls for your prayers and interest.

MassStamper...
Thanks so much for your thoughts and prayers! Someone gave our family a airline voucher that was about to expire and I was able to book tickets for myself and my three oldest children to fly down this weekend coming up. I am soo looking forward to it. I just talked to my mom and they are hoping the transplant team will stop by this afternoon and she will get activated. Good grief---by the time I get there next weekend she could have already been transplanted. AMAZING! The turnover for transplants is pretty quick.
