Stamping on fabric ?

Do any of you ever stamp on fabric? I have the Serenity BG stamp, and my mom is a quilter. She saw it, and thought it would fit nicely into a challenge piece that she is making. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated...

I have done this a few times. You need to use something like SU's craft ink to get it to work. I have always washed and dried the item first with no fabric softner. After stamping, you need to heat set the ink either in the dryer or with any iron. I have found that darker colors work best and lighter colors fade very quickly. White doesn't stay at all. HTH
