Funny Misheard Song Lyrics

In my brothers preschool (20 + yrs ago!) they did a performance for their graduation. My 4 YO Brother had to sing the last line of the Star Spangled Banner. So we have wonderful video of my brother singing at the top of his lungs that we are the "Land of the FWEE and the home of the GAY". Poor guy still hears it to this day! lol!

oh and my dad has had a few whoppers too.

Singing aloud to "Getting Jiggy With It" by Will Smith is refered to as that 'shoveling song'. Why you ask?? Cuz my Dad thought it was a song about getting a shovel and "Going Digging With it".

We also refer to the Line in Chumbawumbas song "Tubthumping" as the "No Time" song. See Dad insists that instead of them singing "I get Knocked Down, and I get up again..." They are saying "I got NO TIME, so I get up again..."

I guess my Bro. got his facinating listening and singing skills form his pop huh?!?!? Good thing I didn't get it!

Ohh...my hubby and my dad,,not knowing that each other had "their special words" for the Bee Gees song...More than a Woman...
My dad thought it said "bald headed woman"
and DH thought it was "four letter woman"..............I just rolled laughin' at these two...
