CC140: krafty pomegranate
You know, I swore I wasn't gonna use pomegranate this week.....but I did. Sorry! This was suggested by lacyquilter because she saw a card by Julia S. So here goes!
CC140:
purely pomegranate (rose red)
kraft (sahara sand, creamy caramel......)
whisper white
My Sample
Julia's Sample
CC140 Gallery
Please put CC140 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
As always, I am open to suggestions for future color challenges! Please pm me if you have one. DO NOT SEND ME AN EMAIL!! If you do not include a sample, it is harder for me to use it! I will probably not respond, as I get several, but I save them for future reference!

That sounds good to me. Is it close to Kraft? I've never bought Kraft before, guess I need to put it on my list.

No kraft here either! Oh and Im glad Im not the only one!!!
I'll have to wait to find out what we can use.
Seems like creamy caramel would be closer to kraft then cocoa.....but then again, I've never bought kraft.

I would think that Creamy Caramel would be an acceptable alternative. I think I bought Kraft cardstock the last time it was on a CC since I didn't have it and I haven't used it yet, so here's my chance!

I think sahara sand is probably the closest....or creamy caramel in a pinch.

Ha! I have Kraft, but I don't have the purely pomegranite ink pad. But I do have a refill. Hmmm, how can I make this work? I'll find a way. Thanks Emily.

Is the color challenge only for SU colors? Or can I sub if I can come really, really close? From looking at your examples, I should have c/s to closely duplicate the colors. Will this be alright or should I should sit out the color challenges? TIA

you are welcome to use any papers that are close - the idea is to think outside your box - not to be SU nazi's!

Well, wouldn't you know, I think I'm all out of kraft. Maybe I can find a scrap somewhere. I have it on order. Hope I get a chance to play tomorrow. Thanks, Emily.

I really like the look of the PP ink on the kraft cs. Wow, it can be stunning. I added one more Christmas card to my stash.
