Default Directions for my Accordion Fold Card

Since many people have asked me for directions on how to do the accordion fold (or pop-up) card I posted yesterday I decided to post directions here for all to see. Now I hope they are easy enough to follow so I can start seeing many more of this type card posted to the Gallery!

Here is a link to my card:
Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

And below is an attachment (in MSWord) with the directions so you can make one!

Enjoy!

oh and both the accordion piece and the card piece are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 before folding. To make the accordion even, it is folded in half, then each side is folded into the center, then you turn it over and fold the ends into the center again. You will then have 8 even portions but You WILL have to go back and refold some so they go the right direction...like a folded fan.

I can't seem to get the file to download. Only shows a section of a drawing, the letters AC and part of a name. Help. I even have MS word on my computer.

Default problem opening file

I found I had the same problem (seeing only part of the download) if you grab a corner and drag it will open bigger. Hope that helps you. Kristen thank you so much for the instructions! I love new card layouts! Keep up the great work!

Hi, I have tried all the sites you listed for the instructions, and nothing works. The document is blank. Your website is disabled. What else can I try? Thanks for your help. [email protected]

Wink help opening document

If you can open the document but just get a part of the image, try this...
Click on the box and see if you get something that looks kind of a shadow box with a little white square center top, center bottom and each side. Move your cursor to the bottom center square untin you get an up/down arrow (not 4 arrows pointing each direction) then drag your cursor down and see if it stretches the document box where you can see more of the image. Repeat with the right side square. That's how I got it to show the whole image.
