With Hubby coming home sick last week....and the kids being home sick this week.....I had really tried to keep it away from me!! BUT, I got up this morning with 102 fever and sore throat!! UGH!!!
Maybe tomorrow I'll feel better and can make a quick trip??

Awesome!
Well-for those of you that were lucky enough to attend-wasn't it a blast!!?!? I'd just like to thank Lorien, Patty B, Jen 70, and Jen Burnham for getting this whole thing together. Thanks too to Tracy and Ann-and all the others that helped! I will definitely be signing up for next years-is there a sign up sheet yet? (hee hee)
There was much talk of getting an even larger place next year (for more stamping room and for more people) so I would positively suggest signing up if you get the chance.
It was so nice to meet all of you ladies that attended-although I didn't meet everyone there-nice to put a face with a name.
Thanks also-Sharon (notimetostamp), and Roseanne(cutterscallous-not sure I spelled those right) for the demo's!
Sue

A HUGE shout out to ALL of you that planned the gathering AND those of you that attended. It was such a pleasure meeting you and it was so nice to finally put a face with the name. I can't wait until next year. Thank you for the wonderfult time. I truly had a GREAT time.... I hope to stay in touch with those of you that I had the chance to meet.
A high five to our hostesses. This was way more fun than I imagined. Great planning. Everything went sooo well. Thanks to all of the ladies that donated stuff for door prizes. The challenges were so cool and ummmm! well challenging. The food was great. Thanks so much to everybody who helped make this such a fun getaway for my DD and I. I loved meeting everyone face to face instead of keyboard to keyboard. I felt like I already knew so many of you and that we were old friends. The swaps were marvelous and soo beautiful everyone put there best efforts out. The shoe box swaps were a blast. And last but not least thanks to Sharon(Notiimetostamp) for the Flourishes stamp set for my coming the fartherest(still not sure if that is a word) and for all of you Michiganers letting me be a part of your event.
Can't wait till next year. Do we sign up yet?

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
Patty, Lorien, Jen, Ann, Rachel, Michele .. what can I say to you ladies ... what a totally wonderful and exciting weekend. Top marks for GREAT organisation and for being such good sports! Michele, the meal you organised was fabulous ... mmmmm, buttery noodles! Rachel, the secret sister was a huge success, thanks for taking the time to get that all pulled together, wonderful job, Lorien, Patty and Jen ... just top banana ladies! I'm sure it wasn't as effortless as it seemed which just goes to show that you girls are totally wonderful! Fab name tags Ann ... you did such a great job for us all (mine's stuck at the top right corner of my computer screen ... Roy says it's in case I forget who I am ... and after the amount of sleep I got on Fri/Sat night, I think he's right for once!!!!) I'm going to get all my goodies and swaps out now and go through them again ... thank you to all the swappers for GREAT work, you girls were great fun to be around. Let's do this again! Hugs,
Hi! I just took a 2.5 hour nap and am still exhausted. My DH was going to meet his friend for a couple drinks and to get some time away from the kiddos after taking care of them all by himself this weekend. He did a wonderful job. Friday night he took them all to an event at the elementary school and yesterday he took them all rollerskating and the house was pretty clean when I got home too. I had such a great time! Thanks to all of you for coming and making it so much fun!!!
I just got home, and want to fall over! That was some serious fun
Sorry to all who were expecting pics from me over the weekend. . .I was disappointed to find that I couldn't get a wi-fi connection to save my life. . .so I am downloading pictures and will post here when they are up on SCS and my blog.
Thanks so much to everyone who put time and energy into getting us all in one place! I can't wait for the next opportunity

This was my first swap event, and I loved it! I just attended on Saturday, but I saw the Friday night projects and was really impressed by those also. The Saturday card swaps and shoe box swaps were the best. Everyone put such effort and creativity into what they brought. And the demonstrations were great, I learned so much...I need Copic markers immediately! Thank you, ladies, it was great meeting all of you!
Thanks Debra and Judy for your sweet cards and gifts!
I'd love to be included in future events.

Technical term there. I found it at the table that if you were walking into our meeting room it was the 1st table that was in the second row to the right. There was a tall blonde with a green sweater sitting there, I believe. If anyone knows whos it is please PM me and I will make arrangements to get it back to you. Thanks!

I've got tears in my eyes reading the posts from you guys saying you had a great time. Must be the lack of sleep!
Ditto!!!
I'm just happy that you're all happy! Like all of you it's so wonderful to be able to put a name with a face and to know how everyone's personally fits into what they're saying when they're posting - I know that everytime I read a post from Emma I'll be reading with an accent;)
I'm so glad that everyone had fun! Like everyone else has said, it was fun to meet everyone in person and put faces/voices to names here. I'm another one who will be "hearing" sweet Emma's accent when I read her posts. LOVE IT!
Rachel!!! (hillmangirl) THANK YOU!!!! You were a great big sis to have. Thanks for the tip on the Bead Shop. Found the scarves!!! Bought a couple for oldest DD Erin. She is 25 and will LOVE those.

Just got home--clear roads and sunshine most of the way--took us nine hours. THANKS to all mentioned above for the WONDERFUL job they did making a WONDERFUL weekend for all of us!!!
I got home late last night, but the trip was pretty good. Just tired! I had two nephews birthday parties today, so I haven't had too much time to catch up on here today. I really enjoyed meeting everyone this weekend, and the memories are priceless. Thank you to Dawn Mercedes for being such a great Big Sis! I just love the altered notebook.
I also want to thank Vnolte (Vanessa) for being such a great roomie. We'll have to room together again next year. It was just a fantastic weekend!!
Debra, it was just delightful meeting you too! Meeting everyone made the weekend extra special! Fun, fun time stamping, GREAT-- meeting new friends face-to-face-- PRICELESS!!!

SO fun! I will definitely return to the bead shop anytime I'm in the area...such a great store for the senses (I loved touching all the stones and seeing all the gorgeous colors). It was lovely to meet you and I hope we get to stamp again in the near future!
By the way...I was ill all day replaying the vision & smells of Tony's. My husband is NOT going to believe it...maybe there's some pics online of their meals. UNreal.

Rachel !!! Can I get a loan for $48, lol ? Seriously, I could have spent all day in the bead shop !!! I bought some cuff watches for $5, two of the scarves, a cuff bracelet in Coral/Wh like the one you bought and some loose stones to make necklaces. I can't wait to take my daughter there to shop ( when it's warmer ) Thank You for sharing your items with us, I love that shop !

That tool was actually left at mine (Sarah) and Michele's spot after the shoebox swap (we were #3's, I had a love card, she had a baby card).
We set it over there so it would be seen (and possibly claimed!) =)

I saw Lorien's message, and began to wonder if it was mone, but I didn't even check my tool box yet! It's still in the car! Thanks for letting me know! ;)
I think the tool must be mine. (Silver? A little bent?) It is a paper piercer from my Making Memories tool box. No need to worry about sending it to me. I'll just pick up a new one. They're only a couple of dollars.
