MADDY MASON RAK REQUEST

Many of you I am sure have been touched my Maddy Mason's kindness. Maddy has not been very active on SCS since April but many of you know her well. She's a very fun and wonderfully encouraging person here at Splitcoast.

Maddy has just been diagnosed with breast cancer and at this point is still waiting for test results to be able to move forward with treatment. She should be hearing tommorrow or Monday on the results of some tests.

Bring up one of her cards, look at her avatar and I know you will recognize her. Maddy is a wonderfully talented stamper and I know she would enjoy receiving lots of card, well wishes, hopes and prayers from all of her SCS friends.

Please pm me for Maddy's address if you would like to brighten her day. She deserves it!

Update on Maddy:

I spoke to Maddy last night. She recently had some tests done to determine if the cancer was Stage 4 and had moved into her bones. She received test results yesterday and sadly those results showed some hot spots on Maddy's spine. She will be seeing more doctors on Monday, more tests, more uncertainty. Maddy is going through a very, very difficult time right now.

She does have family supporting her but she lives in an area that is very remote and she is not close to friends. She has no one to have lunch with, visit with, confide in.....She can only converse with her friends via internet and e-mail.

We will know more in a week. Thanks for helping Maddy to feel connected to her friends by sending her cards, prayers, and well wishes.

Thanks for the update Cindy. I always wonder when a fellow Splitcoaster is absent for a time. I adore Maddy and will send some happy mail filled with hugs and prayers.

Oh Cindy!!!!! I am so sad to hear this further development. Thanks for keeping us posted. I will send another card to her this week. I love Maddy!! She has been one of my favorite stampers and friends on our site. I will keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

Cindy, this is so hard to read, I feel sad that one so young and vibrant and beautiful and artistic is struggling so hard for life...I love Maddy's cards, just adored the bear one she did not long ago...I hope she can feel connected through this thread and reading these posts. Maddy, I am praying hard for you...just try to take it one day at a time, and let us know how you progress!

Cindy, I don't know much about Maddy other than, that a lot of people have been wondering about her for a while/ I do however understand being remote and alone and ill. Prayer is the most powerful encouragement one can offer during a time like this. For her friends and family too! My prayers are for hope, peace and understanding. And a card will be in the mail.

Hugs and prayers for Maddy. This is so tough, and I can't even begin to imagine what she's going through. I think we need to swamp her mailbox with hand-crafted love -- that should lift her spirits at least a little. Cindy, I will pm you for her address.

Ann...how wonderful that Maddy is receiving card from another direction, from your group! I hope that she truly is receiving lots of wonderful cards. Sent a card out yesterday and will continue to lift her up in prayer. I wish she had someone in close range that could help her out, she certainly needs a shoulder to lean on right now. Thanks for the update.

Maddy was in our Technique Junkie group too. Her addy isn't in our Rak file. Could you pm me her addy too? Is it okay it I share this info with my TJ group as many of them know her as well?
