WT114 - Going Yo Yo: Card Products, Tools & Styles

Yo Yo Yellow, that's the challenge! Find ways to use Yo Yo Yellow in your designs this week. When Trudee suggested this challenge, I thought, great idea...I rarely use Yo Yo Yellow. Turns out it wasn't as easy as I had thought...for me anyways!

I'd love to see what YOU come up with! I need some Yo Yo Yellow ideas! Please remember to put WT114 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your work.

You may make as many designs as you wish for as long as you wish. As this is a challenge to get you stamping, you may link one previously uploaded design as long as you create a new one as well. Also, any papercraft project is fine to make. Make a card or get more creative and do a layout, a frame, whatever strikes your fancy.

Oh this will not be easy. I dont like the color yellow!
Actually I think there may only be 4 sheets missing from my original package of yo yo .... and its eight years old!!! LOL

When I first started out as a demo, couldn't afford to buy a lot of card stock, so I went to a local paper store and bought a couple of reams of cheap stuff. They had some that matched color perfectly, although it was much thinner stock. Yoyo yellow and tempting turquoise -- Designed a lot of cards with those two colors.

I think an addition of black would be very striking. I'll see what I can do. Won't be able to post till later, though. Going to my sis' house to play.

HMMM Going to have to find my sunglasses for this challenge!! A little bright for first thing in the morning. LOL I will see what I come up with have not had time to do the challenges for awhile!!

I hate YoYo Yellow!!! Aaaaccckkkk!!!

But my mom loves it, she thinks it is "beachy" - so I'll make a card for her!

This definitely will be a challenge. When I want yellow, I usually reach for So Saffron. YoYo Yellow seems so BRIGHT! I'll give it a shot when I get home from work.

YIKES-----My first inclination is to play it safe and use yellow and black with a bee stamp. However, I am going to force myself to do otherwise. Hmmmmm. Oh well, I have a lot of time to think about it since I won't be able to play until this afternoon.

I"m actually glad that Yo Yo Yellow has been choosen -- I happen to need a thank you card for my sons Soccer Coach and -- their uniforms are Yo Yo Yellow -- I will have to play when I get home from work!!

As for Yo-Yo yellow.... I was thinking I didn't have it but I think I only have it in the spot.. no paper! waaaa Will see what I can come up with.

Oh no! I don't do primary colors. I have found that I tend to be a shabby chic kind of person. This one will take me awhile, but thanks for making me create outside of my comfort zone!

Well, I'm not at home right now...but I brought some stampin' stuff!!! Yes, that's right, I don't leave home with out it!! There is no way I could last until Monday without some paper crafts!!! Hi ladies! Thanks Julia for this great YoYo challenge...I have to say that this card was really difficult to make, as a family member has just passed...I found out WHILE I was making this card. (Sorry for the "downer"...) sniff.
