Yes she is my Aunty Kath, and the best aunty a paper crafter could ever have! Just don't ever tell her hubby that is was me who got her started on this obsession, I mean hobby!!
That software looks so cool, good thing you can use it with both machines!

Kathy, I think you might want this cable with the software because it is super long and you will be able to have your Cricut be far away from your computer. Make sense??

MAkes perfect sense but I still dont think its long enough to go from my Living room to my craftroom, LOL! Maybe this will be the excuse I need to get the spare bed out of my craft room? Then I would have room to move my computer cabinet from the living room. I know my living room would thank me. I have a very nice cabinet it hides all of my mess, but the bag of stuff waiting to be shredded and the shredder look a little out of place!;)

It sounds - to me - to be an excuse to get a laptop.
Along the same line.... I was thinking about getting the cartridge Beyond Birthdays but then I was wondering if this would really be necessary since the new software will be able to join the letters together. Why buy this cartridge when the new software will able to do this with your existing font cartridges? .....
So are you saying that the Beyond Birthdays cartridge DOES allow letters to be joined in the cut?
I've posted several places and thought I'd check here too. My goal is to actually turn on my Expression this week. I'm hoping to cut quite a few bags and/or boxes to decorate for an upcoming fundraiser using the TBBM cartridge. Does anyone have a quick reference/cheat sheet showing the bag/box you chose, the paper size you used, and the size of the final product that came out? I know on the Cricut MB that Merjoy posted using the small cricut but I'm wanting to cut bigger ones using 12x12 paper? Kim on the Cricut MB did reply that the biggest giftbg she could cut was 5.5. Anybody else with other cut sizes? Thanks, Kim

Hi Kim!!
I will try to make up a sheet with my Expression when it arrives during the week. I can't wait to see what you create with your e-bug!!!

Bwahahaha.. you are so right ,but I have bought 3 laptops and one computer in the last 6 years. I keep having DD's graduate from High School(graduation presents for College), my computer is only 3 years old. I had to buy a desk top for myself because it was a better deal cost wise. See how us Mothers Sacrifice.... Some day I will by myself a Laptop, but for now I have to stick with what I got! ...in the next 3 years two more graduate, so I think I'll be waiting... It is a brilliant idea though.;)
My ebug shipped today!! I'm so nervous! I had a friend offer to buy the little bug from me but I don't know if I can do it. What if I don't like the big bug as much as the little one????? I just cleaned off a spot on my table for the big one. I hope I like it!!
Tomorrow is a scrap day at my house with some girls from church. I'm going to actually bring my bug out of hiding for the day and share it with others. Since the new one is on the way I'd better give this one some special attention.
I did make a few scrapbook pages for my DD today. Iused Zooballoo, and Walk in My Garden. Cricuts really do make Scrapbooking fun. I posted the pictures in my blog and as thumbnails in the talking thread. Just use my blog link in my siggy( sorry I am lazy) and you can see them I posted them today.;)

Sounds like fun. enjoy your little bug while you can. With how much you use your cricut Robyn I think you will just be in love with your E-bug and trying to enable us all to follow in your footsteps. I am almost 100% sure of it.
Hey girls what new, not time to change my mind these days let alone do any cricuting:(
I hardly took any pictures this summer, I am waiting on getting the Nikon D40 ( maybe this weekend!!!) so I didn't take many picture with my other camera, I did take lots of the first day of school for my youngest though, so the little bug will get some use yet.
Aunty Kath got an expressions this morning for pretty cheap on ebay, good thins she is related and we can share our machines and carts.
Well I should get to bed morning comes way to early
My e-bug is on the FedEx truck for delivery and it's a day early!!!!!! YIIPPPPPEEEEEEE!!!!!! I can't wait. I hope I can squeeze in some time to play tonight. I have a daycare class.

Awesome Amy!! I don't expect mine until Thursday or Friday but maybe it will come a day early, too!

Robyn & KIM with the way it cuts the shape I think you would need the 12 by 24 mat to get a larger purse KWIM, and by that special sized cricut paper! the 12" length is what limits the size also.
Thanks Wendie! It came at 10 this morning. I can't wait until nap time so I can open the box!!!!
Keep us up to date on it! I want to know what it does, that makes it worth spendingthe money on. I may get it after the first of the year. I want to try the software first.
Hi all! I have popped in previously when my Expressions was on order, but now it is here, out of the box and has even been known to chirp on occassion. I love it!!! I never had the original Cricut, but am glad that I jumped in with both feet and got the big machine. When we moved DH even built cabinets for my craft room and the bug has it's own counterspace. I am having fun exploring the new possibilities with this toy.
I promise to come around here more often. If you don't see me, come get me out of fun & games ;)
Thought I'd stop in and say hi as a new owner of the Cricut Expressions (is that the same as the ebug?) I got mine about a month ago through the ProvoCraft special and I absolutely *heart* it!
It is on the truck in Illinois. Maybe tomorrow??? Hopefully!! I have to go to the dentist (my DH) on Friday so I don't think I will be in the mood to Cricut. I get pretty numbed up and tired.

Well I hope that goes well and that the Ebug is a quick traveler!;)
Not very busy here today I hopethis means everyone is playing with their bugs, and they are chirping away. Maybe someone will post what they made! Please! I'ld love some new ideas;)
My Expression is only 4 hours away but I probably won't get it until Friday because it will need to check in at OKC. Bummer!!
I made a really, really cute Fall paint tin with my Cricut and stamps. I am going to be selling them at a craft fair at the end of next month. What do you think??

Robyn, I hope your bug travels fast and is able to find it's way to your house today. Even if it does come tomorrow at least you won't have to wait the entire weekend for it. I will check go check out your paint tin.
