Fans of the show Survivor know the candidates have a "fun" getaway to a remote location. This VSN is your chance to getaway (at least mentally). The difference is that the survivor candidates have only their surroundings...you on the other hand get to design a survival kit to take on your getaway. Your challenge is to alter a container to create a survival kit for a special getaway for you or a friend. We've attached several samples to get your juices flowing. Immunity points can be earned for the following things:
List of items you would include in your survival kit (you can post this when you upload)
Coordinated altered items for your survival kit
And just because we LOVE patterned paper...using patterned paper on your kit
In staying with the Survivor theme we want you to cast your vote for your favorite survival kits. You can definitely vote for more than one in this game of Survivor: VSN...and we want to encourage it. The more comments you make, the more chances you can earn to win a special Survivor: VSN reward.
Happy Stamping!
Your Vacation Vixens for this challenge are...

B/c I check on both of those blogs...pretty much DAILY...I updated your opening post to include links so that participants can see what they are missing!
Just back to VSN-world - baby in bed so I can play till I conk out. I have a plan for this challenge, but it's going to have to wait because I'm running out of time here. Great idea and I can't wait to get my survival kit packed!
You can totally do oit! We each did ours in 45 minutes...from our first cut to finished product. Patterned paper can definitely make it easier to get done in the 45 minute limit!!

Totally cute...Jeanne!! Boy I could have used your packing skills packing my stamping stuff to come up to Cindy's! It's just amazing what I forgot! Thanks for playing!!
Billie...you don't have to necessarily decorate everything in your kit within the time limit! You can also attach a list of what you would include in it so we can get some fun ideas!!
Hmmm....I don't need anything except chocolate for a dreamy getaway! Oh, well, I packed extras!!! Here's my kit complete with chocolate, Merlot, reading material, and a flattened hug!
What a great challenge. I haven't stopped laughing since I started this. In the words of our beloved Jan Tink, "I love myself!" Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Wow! We just looked at everyone's AWESOME tins!! It seemed that most of our perfect vacations include stamping and chocolate...great minds think alike!!
Long driving trips NEED some CDs, DVDs (for passengers) or Books on CD to make the trip shorter. So this Travel Tunes package is a MUST for a driving trip.
Hmmmm.....stamping AND Survivor????? My two most favourite things??? How can I NOT do this challenge??!!
My daughter's birthday party sleepover is tonight (four giggly teenage girls in one room) so it may be midnight before I can get to this...........let's face it, it may be tomorrow!! But I'm doin' it!!!!!!!!!
