Thanks, Velvet, the snow seems to have tapered off for now, hope It's gone for good.
Judy
You're welcome, Judy, but I am back from my walk and there are some forbidding clouds in the sky intermingled with the sun... uh oh! Pesky little 'squitos are out in full force too.
Well, I wasn't able to locate any ABC stamps at my local 'Buck' store, but I found some alphabet stickers (and a few other things  ) so maybe I can get by on those or my penmanship, I guess!
To Regina: As I know you check on SCS even before your own email - LOL - check your mail-box tomorrow or next day for a little something (not stamp related...) I know, darn! but hopefully, it will bring you a smile.

Hey Peggy, and everyone else too!
I have been working my little butt off for 7 days straight...if I don't get my shoebox swap done I won't be tarred and feathered will I?? I feel really bad...but I am getting really swamped for time. I am going to give it a try though...!

I've finally climbed out from the laundry accumulated during our long weekend camping trip and thought I'd catch up. Whew! Alot gets said around here!
Well it rained on and off most of the weekend but thankfully we were in a trailer and NOT a tent. And we did not get any snow!
Charming I have All Wrapped Up and Accessories I will bring for you. Also Peggy Don't forget I'm bringing my cuttlebug and embossing templates.
And just so you know .... I would NEVER win the bag of Rhinstone Brads (where would one get those by the way?) as I am INCAPABLE of packing light. DH complains that when I try to pack light it is about the equivalent of normal peoples regular packing LOL! Anyway glad to be back and on-line. Gonna start prepping and putting my swaps together tonight after the kids are in bed (I forsee little to no sleep until next Monday!)
Speaking of Kids gotta go make sure DD is starting her homework.

Dione, don't sweat it, this is supposed to be a fun event for us all to enjoy! I am sure there will be more than enough to do and we're going to have a great time aren't we?!!! With you girls that work, I just don't know where you summon up the time or energy to do all this as well. I must be getting old or something!
Anne Marie the rhinestone brads are coming out in the new catalogue.
Thanks!
I STILL can't get signed onto SU! I've sent demo support an e-mail just now. Hopefully all will be resolved. I've heard rumours we're moving to a twice a year I/B and catty is this true? I remember reading briefly that there was going to be a pre-view mini catty. When does it come into effect?
INFO please anyone who has some!

1. With the list of "extras" you guys asked us to bring with reference to the paper do want us to bring our least favorite solid cardstock or least favorite patterned paper.
2. Do you want us to label our shoebox's as shoebox 1, 2 , etc.
3. Do you know if and/or when the field trip to West Ed Mall is?
Hey does anyone have the bella playing a guitar stamp? (I think it's called rockabella.) DD wants a Barbie Diaries b-day party and Barbie plays Guitar in her high school band in that particular movie so I thought if anyone has it I could nab a few images for the b-day invites.

1) cardstock mainly, but if you have least favorite patterned paper, bring that along too!

Does anyone have any of these sets, that I may be able to borrow. Snowy Play, Hedgehog Happiness, Feathered Friends, A New Little Someone, Bellas, and Voila? Sorry for the short notice.
I still have to decide on a technique for my shoebox swap ... talk about leaving it to the 11th hour LOL! Anyway I was wondering what techniques everyone else in group 5 was doing so we don't have duplicates?

Hey Guiding Girl did you mean Western Educational? To hear it from the Edmonton Crew it is the Mecca of Stamp stores in Edmonton. It has been abbreviated to WE in the chat threads maybe that's how you got confused?
And YES you are in group 5 I just checked along with:
Thanks Peggy. No big on the West Edmonton mall. Sunshine and Bugs and I were just trying to decide when we would go there as we will be up on Friday so we were thinking about doing it then.

My, I missed so much talk today--been gone all day, doing various things. One being my head of hair which now looks like I stuck my finger in a light socket--oh well, that's how it usually looks anyway
I'm not happy to hear of snow anywhere! I now have another passenger-a friend who is only going as far as Hinton. It should not be so bad to drive
I have my shoebox swap done, though I didn't really use any special technique :(, does embossing count?
I still have to finish my 3d swap... it may be done late Friday given the week I'm having.
wow...... lets hope the greyhounds gets it together!

BTW.... I better save a seat for you Robin, 'cause I would hate to have you sit beside someone who doesn't know you and have you committed for talking to yourself.... oh yeah.. and answering too.
You can chose your brads, but no cheating.......you can't stuff your pockets full of stuff, nor can you bring a tote the size of a small car.
And here I thought you enjoyed my little conversations! LOL! Yes, I am sure that others will appreciate you 'going one for the team'. Besides, I love sitting next to you and bouncing ideas off of you, you are always so honest, and so sweet about it. I promise not to erect any paper fences, or get into any table top wars with you. I can play nice, right?
DUDE!!! I am the biggest 80's freak!! My poor kids are growing up in a time warp (minus the acid washed jeans and teased hair of course)!! I love the 90's though too!
