In case you haven't noticed, SU! has released the retirement list for the Aussie catalog. I know the Aussie catalog is not the same as the US catalog (the Aussie catty had the US 05/06 cover & hostess sets), however, there are some sets in the current US catty that are being retired from the Aussie catalog.
Now, that doesn't mean they'll definitely retire for us in the US, but thought you want to see the list.
Here's the 36 sets (some wheels):
Adoring Hearts, And Everything Nice, Baby Rattle, Baby Talk, Balmy Breezes, Brighter Tomorrow, Burst into Bloom, Cat's Meow, Cool C at, Drawing on Nature, Elegant Greetings, Fun with Shapes, Going Out in Style, Happy Occasions, Hollyhock, It All Adds Up, Jazz, Leaves & Swirls, Lively Little Ones, Love Without End, Love Ya Bunches, Millinery, Pounce, Power Up, Right at Home, Ruff Day, Santa Post, Simple Wishes, Sketch It, Some Like it Hot, Sparkling Summer, Spring Garden, Swell News, Swirl Fun, Symbols of Salvation, Wonderful Weaves
And, if you're looking for the Aussie retirement list (new catalog is released April 07), look here.
Oh, almost forgot, the Australia Retirement list includes all retired items: stamp sets, papers, tags, kits, and wheels! Maybe that's a good sign for this year's US retirement list!

Don't understand what you mean by this....we got a retiring accessories list last year along with all the stamps.

What I remember from the past year or two is that the retiring stamps are announced in early May, some two months before they were officially retired and the retiring accessories were only announced some two WEEKS before they retired, not enough time for most of us to get them all! I am not a demo, however and may not have this info right!

well This is nice to have in advance , at least I can plan on getting the wheels and 1 set that I wanted sooner rather than wait until the last minute. I'd rather get them now and be on the safe side. Thanks.

Last year we were given a accessories retiring list, which was the first time they had ever offered that up to us and was so very nice to have!!! I believe we got it with about a month or so prior to the release of the new cattie.
Us Americans will get our retiring list on May 1st and you can bet it will be posted quickly!!!!

The American retiring list comes out on May 1st (I think on SU website also) and you can bet it will be posted here quickly!!!!
Now I remember we did get accessories last year... I guess, when I saw the Aussie list, and the items are on the published list for customers, I just wasn't thinking.
I noticed that a lot of sets that retired out of ours last year were in the Aussie cat when they started. So it could be that they found out which sets sold down there and which didn't and we'll still have those sets come July 1. Who knows? I'm really looking forward to the new cat, though. Yay!
Okay - now that I've bought all the sets to be able to demo them... I'm not going to panic about it because maybe they are going to split them out like we have them here in north america rather than all in one set? Yeah... that's what I'll tell myself!

Hey... just wanted to give you some input. I had seen that list a few weeks ago thinking the same thing. But the current aussie catty is our retired catty. So you might want to check that over again. Some of those sets are already retired for us. I logged into the aussie side of the SU website and found the old catty and it retires in the end of March for them. Hope this helps...

Yes, there are sets on the Aussie retiring list that are already retired for the US. Post #1 lists those sets that are in the current US catalog, and also on the Aussie retiring list. It doesn't mean anything concrete - I don't have an "IN" with any one at SU! - make your own conclusions
