Well, I guess I knew this day would come sooner or later...*sniff*...I can't play today! Must drive far far away and visit DH at work. Guess I'll have to play catch up on Monday! Love the inspiration piece. I will bring a small stash of supplies with me, although I hate to leave the comforts of my Happy Place.

I spent way too much time trying to replicate the patterns in the top, just cuz the combination of the plaid and roses was SO pretty. I might have to try another that follows it more loosely. Very nice choice for the challenge Joyclynn!

Since my new friend Joycelyn posted this challenge I figured I had to do it. LOL I've just started doing the challenges a couple of weeks ago and am having a blast. Great challenge Joycelyn!
This was a really tough challenge for me. I just couldn't get the ideas in my head to transfer into a card. I ended up taking a completely different route and ended up with a little girl.
It's only been a little over a week, but it feels like forever since I've participated in a challenge! Having invested in way too much pink and brown patterned paper and loving Cool Carribean, I couldn't pass this one up. Here's

Here is my IC using the layout from the sketch challenge. I had to be gone all day and had this card in mind so sat down and did it when I got home tonight. The colors on the scan look faded as compared to real life. TFL
I am a bit disappointed in this card, I didn't have any nice butterflies that would go with the paper. The ribbon didn't scan straight either. I may have another try at this if my DD takes a nap today.
