I have never liked Glorious Green. This challanged made me have more of an open mind to it. I may use it again. Thanks! I had a lot of fun!
Here are my cards- Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
A perfect challenge for me today - I just bought a gift for a friend's DS and the store wrapped it in jungle paper, so this card worked wonderfully with glorious green!
First off I hope your Mom is feeling better, Hugs to her!
Thanks for the challenge today, glorious green is so on the bottom of my list I never use it , but I did today and here is what I came up with!
I do plan on playing. I have the CS, but not the ink. Shows you how often I use the color. So happy to hear your mom is home and doing better. Your friend, Nancy
Julia--
I will keep your mom (and you) in my prayers...
The challenge was great....I never use Glorious Green (ever!)...so this was my chance.
Thanks! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here is mine...it's for my nephew...I can not believe how early I made his card!!! Usually it's the day of and I'm making the card as we rush out the door!
Here is mine...I apparently don't use Glorious Green either, as I don't have the inkpad, but have accumulated a lot of cs. Thanks for the challenge, Julia!

first time i cut into my GG, also. went w/ a tropical sorta theme. thanks, Julia, and so glad your mom is home!! TFL!
Shhesh - I hope Beate doesn't vomit when she sees my ugly card! I really do not like the glorious green. I liked it with my Bella card - but I could not make it work today. WHO TOOK MY MOJO????
I am a person who likes green, but I am not fond of Glorious Green. However, I did use it last weekend for VSN for my Tote Bag, since it worked with the bright colors I was using.
Today, I came up with two cards using Glorious Green. For my first card, I played with my new sets:
Big Pieces, Little Pieces, and Seeing Spots.
Glorious Green seems to work best for me when it is used with other bold bright colors.
For my second card, I started with some ribbon, and things went downhill from there. Here is my ugly card. It isn't like I wasted a perfectly good piece of paper to make the card. It was Glorious Green, after all. ;)

I think this will make a great birthday card for my 4 year old nephew. Will's Far Out Birthday
Thanks for the challenge Julia. They really test my limits but I love 'em!
While we are on the subject of green (I have no Glorious Green-which color group was it with anyway?) -I digress-did anyone notice in one of the new card magazines-gotta go look to see which-they made shamrocks out of prima flowers? They just clipped one of the five petals out and added a little stem-I am gonna go play with greens and that idea-even if I lack GG. Susie
AURGH!!!! I *just* finished a card and thought it turned out SO cute and realized that it's Glorious Green NOT Green Galore (I don't know WHY I got them mixed up but I did!!!). :(
Location: Oklahoma...State (OSU) We love 'em even when they lose, and we're never disappointed!

I finally finished mine......worked on it this morning, waited for UPS, mounted the set, then when I went to stamp I had some boo boos with the words....got tired and gave up.....so here it is:
I'm not sure if it counts as meeting a challenge if I shamelessly CASEd Inkpad's design. You can see her original card here: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
The only thing I changed was to use poppin' pastels and I changed the greeting from good luck to Happy St. Patrick's Day. I actually really like this card and will use it in my early march workshops. TFL!
That is a tricky colour. Although as I was thinking about what I could do, I remembered a layout I did a few weeks ago using the Dots and Dashes paper from the last IBC - it has LOTS of Glorious Green!:

I got them mixed up too! I was wondering why everyone kept saying that it was an ugly color, and then I was wondering why everyone's greens in their card looked so dark! Duh!
Thanks for hostessing this challenge, Julia -- Glorious Green is definitely not a color I have ever used, but I really like the way my cards came out today. So glad your Mom is home for now - enjoy your time with her !
I never use this color unless it is for a Christmas card...oh well, I found something to do with it. I think I got a little carried away with the background though...Island Green. Thanks for the challenge, it was definatly challenging ;)
Whoa! Great challenge, Julia! I HATE Glorious Green- he he he... so this could really cause me to like it perhaps. Wish I had time to stamp tonight but I think I am turning in. So I will have to add it tomorrow. Hope everyone will still take a peak.
And it is really just great to know your mum is home and in the loving hands she should be! ;-)
