I know this topic has been discussed before, and I've seen tons of different ideas. Right now I'm using Baby Wipes because using my Scrubs (I have two, and a set of extra pads) are all dirty and leave my stamps dirtier than they were in the first place! I always "stamp off" as much as I can before using the Scrub too. I want to get them good and clean!
I use Stampin' Mist, but I also use UltraClean to get off the black and Stazon. I often stamp the UC on the top 1/3 of my Scrub, and Stampin' Mist on the bottom 2/3, so I'm ready to clean whatever kind of stamps I need to. The first couple times, I just washed them by hand with dish soap and a lot of water and elbow grease. No matter what, the paper towels would still be dirty when I dried them! Someone mentioned they clean them with just baby wipes (!) and I tried that the last time because I wanted an instant solution without having to let them dry, etc.

I spray windex on the scrub pads and soak with water and use the side of a spoon to get down to the bottom while they are being flooded with warmish water. I then just rinse until clear and leave them on their sides standing to drain. I use a few paper towels to blot any residue toward the bottom of the scrub (from standing on their edges).

I put mine in the dishwasher, top rack as well. It works awesome! I tried washing them by hand one time and it took 5 times and it was still dirty. So I have used the dishwasher since.
***Side note, if you decide to try the dishwasher to clean them, make sure you either turn off the heated dry cycle or you remove them before they get to dry cycle. The pads will warp if they get too hot.

Pop the pads out. Also, if you use the heat dryer on DW, it may end up warping your pads. They may be bent so bad you can not fit them back in.
I usually spray fantastik or 409 on the pad and let it soak for 20 minutes or so. Then I rinse with water.
I have also soaked the pads in a bowl of water with oxy clean powder. Then I rinse with water.

I just soak mine in the sink with dish soap and then set them up on their sides to dry. I do have two sets so that one can be in use if the other is wet or being cleaned. I think it is good not to leave them too long before cleaning.
Also, Baby Oil works great for getting Staz on and black ink off your stamps, it also keeps them conditioned a little so that they have less chance of drying out.
I tried just plain washing them by hand with some Dawn, but found that it was leaving a black residue still on my stamps when I cleaned them. So... I also tried washing them multiple times and flipping them over (wet side down) onto paper towels to dry. Once the paper towels were no longer dirty after the drying session, the pads were clean! Well, this took too long for me, so I thought, what if I use my scrubber brush instead? You know, the one you use for the dishes that is basically a plastic bristled brush with a handle. Well, now I put some Dawn on the pads, wet them, and scrub the heck outta them with the brush. Then I rinse them well and prop them up on their sides behind the sink overnight. Seems to work for me as it gets all of the black residue (I think that's from Stazon) out and involves very little time and work!

I was told that baby oil is a petroleum product that will cause stamps to disintegrate. Olive oil is natural, won't hurt them and works well.
I soak mine in the sink with a tiny bit of bleach. Works great! Now, my scrubbing pads were white to begin with so I'm not sure how this would work on the SU pads.

I just wash them in the sink with warm water and Dawn. I scrub them with my fingers and rinse well. Let air dry. My first stamp and scrub went through the dishwasher top shelf no heat dry and really warped!! I was totaly bumbed out!! So now I just wash by hand..works well for me.

Yeah, I always do the top rack, because the element is for heating the water as well as drying.
