Default LSC97 - A New Year's Resolution

Brought to you by deeth1 (Thanks Deloris!)

Do you buy stamps and related products when it's on sale thinking you will be able to use it, then put it away in a cabinet to have it just sit there? Or have you received a stamping accessory as a gift and it didn’t fit your needs at the time and you’ve forgotten about it? Have you made a New's Years Resolution to use the stamps and supplies that you have before you buy more? Well then, this challenge is for you!

Start out 2007 by making a card with something you bought or received in 2006 but have never used.

Uploading: When uploading, please tell us in the comments section what is used on your card that you have never used before. And don’t forget to add the keyword: LSC97!

Here's a link to all the challenge cards.
http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...&what=keywords

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Need help linking a card? Follow these instructions!

1. Open 2 windows. One window for your card and one for this thread.
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Got to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.
Your done!

Great challenge Jen - I have way too much stuff that I never use. I'll sleep on this and stamp tomorrow afternoon - we've got playgroup in the morning

Oh dear! You're starting a collection of unused stamps every year? LOL! (I haven't been collecting long enough.) Yes. You can use them.

Jen this challenge is so perfect for me. I was cleaning up my stamping space just yesterday because I had bought some MORE stuff that needed a place to be and in so doing I found tons of unused things that have just been collecting dust. In fact it was on the discovery of all this unused stuff as I was putting away the MORE stuff that I realized I really do have a serious problem.... *sigh*

I have no idea where to begin. I think that if I made cards 24-7 for the rest of my life I would still have unused stuff. I have over 20 unmounted sets and I just ordered 25 more sets! Is there a doctor in the house?

OMG I too have so many stamps I have never used and I admit I keep buying more and more. I tell myself it is for my retirement in about 25 years. OK so how do I pick which one to use I have so many. Maybe I will close my eyes and turn around three times and pick one.

Thanks Jen for a great challenge.

Oh man, this challenge was made for me Jen! I am horrible for hoarding my supplies. I have a ton of liquid applique that I bought last year and I finally got around to using it this week. I bought the Like It a Latte set for the purpose of using my liquid applique.
I am planning on cleaning up and organizing my stamp room this weekend so I just imagine what other little goodies I will find in there that have been collecting dust! LOL

Here is a link to my card:

What a great challenge for the new year, Jen. I've been stamping for ten years and must have tons of unmounted stamp sets! I've been buying the extra large, thinner plastic cases to combine sets to make more room on my shelves! Will have to work on this over the weekend...right now, off to correct some papers!
