Diane - you're too cute! And I love your blog! Too fun!
It was so nice to meet everyone on Saturday - isn't Sarah the best at planning these events?! I'm waiting patiently to mark my calendar for the next one
Sarah is scary good at organizing - WOW!!! Everything was so well thought out and executed! Amazing.
P.S. Meg, I am absolutely in love with the your shadowbox blossoms (and kudos to dawn griffiths as well). I had not yet tried one of these. Thank you for showing me that "I can do it" and it wasn't tough at all!

Debbie and I will chat with you privately! The lobby is lovely. The rooms were quaint, yet eclectic. They did as much as they could with a 60s renovated "Travel Lodge", but the lights still dimmed when you used the blow dryer! Ultimately the front desk goofed up our bill when we checked out and it still is not corrected. But, the night manager was unhappy about something and every 15 minutes or so kept coming in the room asking if you were there. She was actually fairly creepy (stalker-like) and bothersome. We finally asked her if there was a problem and she said no - but continued to keep coming back and reminding us that we needed to be cleaned up and gone by midnight (she started this around 9:30...) I actually will be dropping a short note to the GM later today about her behavior. There were only seven of us in total (and four of the girls were gone to dinner for several hours) - we were not loud so I'm not sure what the real issue was!

BTW - brits4 (Sue) brought cupcakes to the room --- OMG!!!! Just had to post that cause they were delicious - mounds of frosting with sprinkles.... yum!

Okay, on that note...I have a dumb question to ask...what's the stuff called that you use to mount the unmounted rubber stamps that we got in the goodie bags? Some of us went to JoAnn's on the way home and they didn't have any......I'm sort of confused as to how to mount the rubber....

and was loving it, showing my heart cards to everyone on Sunday!! And...well...winning the cuttlebug, which I can never seem to remember the name of...and wishing I'd done the AtC swap after seeing KImberlee's booty bag!!
I can't wait for the next one!!

This shoebox swap was AWESOME to attend. We (three girlfriends and I) stayed in town at the hotel indigo and scrapbooked/stamped and enjoyed a fabulous dinner at THE MELTING POT! Thank you again everyone for such a great event. We could not stop talking about how much fun we had. Sarah, Please let us know when the next shoebox swap will be, we plan on being there with all our bells and whistles!

Any one have a good shot of me? Or one I can photoshop? I am so unphotogenic and I think my control top hose failed on me 1/2 way through the day... I look like a fashion "don't" in every picture I have... I'd love at least one were I am smiling.
Did you see the one on my blog? I thought that one was pretty good. Let me know if you hwant a copy. Unfortuantely, the rest of mine all came out really dark.
I've been so busy reading all the comments and realized I haven't left one myself. Thanks so much Sarah, star stampers, and everyone who brought things to share, eat, drink, etc.
