Now... Please forgive me..... many of you have asked for this template.... here's my (lame) 'excuse' for taking FOREVER to get it to you.
I feel am not very good at giving directions, and I struggled to get them typed out. The other hold up has been.... I have them saved in a document that I find impossible to share easily. It's through a program called "Supreme Office Suite" and doesn't seem to be compatible with much (even though the stinkin' CD says it IS compatible!!) grr..... ANYWAY.... I finally had a friend, here on SC, help me figure out how to convert it into a file that I can post here. Thank you, latenightscrappin, Kelly!!

One piece of 12x12 c/s will make one purse/card holer or two pieces of 8 1/2 x 11 c/s. Also you'll need some cardstock to make any accents you choose to put on your 'purse' (like the leather look pieces on mine). I got my 'Gucci' and leather look c/s from Darcies... here's their link for the 'Gucci' paper (http://www.darciesheartandhome.com/R...&Submit=Search) they call it "Designer Geo". Here is the file for the directions and a picture of my purse.
oh no!! It sounds like you've worked REALLY hard on it...but I can't open the attachment. Is is something you could email?? THANKS!
If you would like me to try, I'll need your e-mail address. When I tried to send you e-mail through your profile, I got this message: "Sorry! That user has specified that they do not wish to receive emails." PM me with it, if you want.
There is a pattern for a card purse in March Paper Crafts that is similar, but made with all one piece of 8 1/2x 11 cs. It ends up 4 1/2" x 6" x 2" and uses ribbon for handles, but can be adapted. I can try to give directions if anyone needs it.
That is the neatest and would be a great Mother's Day project. The only problem is that the pdf file does not come up> Someone more knowagble than I with the computer please help. Thanks in advance
A quick FYI: If you are having problems opening .pdf files, try upgrading your Adobe Reader to the newest version (7.0). Since doing this, I have had few, if any, problems opening .pdf files. And to make it even easier, here's a link to the Adobe site for the download: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
HTH!

Could you PLEASE email me the directions for this adorable purse. I have tried to download the template and even upgraded my Adobe but all I get is gibberish. This is definately a "gotta have", it is soooooooo cute!
Thank you,
Tina Crowley [email protected]
I can't open it either. However, it looks like if you cut the the 8 1/2 x 11 to 8 by l0, score the 10" length at 2,6,8 flip it and score it at 6, repeat on a second sheet, and glue all seams to the back and add 11 1/2 straps and the tab punch with the top cut off of one, you would have it. Is this correct?
I tried to right click the pdf file and "save as target" which didn't work :(
However, when I clicked on the pfd file in the first post, a box automatically appeared: "opening purse card holder 1a.pdf." Choose to "open with" or "save to disc" - worked for me.
