3x3 card & envelope box template
I could not find a thread with a 3x3 notecard box so here is one.
I've had a few emails and pm's for one of these, so here it is - they are fun and FAST - yippie!! This template will house eight 3x3 cards and eight 3x3 envelopes. It is very rough as I will hopefully learn how to make these so pretty next year - LOL! So forgive the crudeness of this.
Here is a pic of a finished piece too that I created for a teacher gift to give you a visual. Hope this helps!

Thank you for sharing this! If it's anything like your 6 card/envy holder, it will be a piece of cake! Can't wait to try this out...

Box for 3" x 3" cards
This is the greatest template! I am using it for my stamp camp this month. I like it because it only takes an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cs and you can even make it deeper by making the measurements that say 3/4" and make them 1" instead. Thank you much Cindy for sharing this with all of us. Carol

I'm interested in the envelopes as well. I've never seen that size for purchase! Is there a template for them somewhere??

Hi - these are available through your Stampin' Up! demonstrator and are located in the 2006 Winter Mini Catalog. They are a set of 40 pre-scored 3x3 cards and 40 envelopes for $9.95. The envelopes are all white, but the cards come in three colors: real red, pretty in pink and whisper white.
The envelopes are approx. 3-1/8" square, and are not approved for USPS mailing. If you wish to send these sized cards through the postal system you will need to place it inside a postal approved size. Smallest postal approved sized envelope measures 3.5" x 5".

I have a 3 X 3 envelope template and 3" note card template that I purchased from a store. Is it alright to try to put it on here or is that breaking a rule that I don't know about yet?

Hi Cindy - I am pretty sure the manufacturer and developer of the template you have wanted to make $$ on the sale of it to individuals.
Either way, as much as I would love to say: yes! Share! I would not advise on distributing it here, but maybe with stamping friends IRL.
It is nice to know that this is available as a nice template than my rough mess here - lol! I need to learn how to make them look so purtty!

Ok, I wasn't quite sure of what you could put on here, so thanks for letting me know it wouldn't be a good idea.

Question about the note card box
Boy, can you tell I am new to this whole thing? I printed out your template and checking the measurements, but, here is the dumb question, do you fold on the solid lines, cut on dotted lines and where does the adhesive go to hold it all together.
Thanks,
Cindy

Cindygrammy2,
Though you can't share the templates with us you could post the store or brand name of the templates so we ourselves could maybe find these templates ourselves.
Thanks for thinking of all of us and wishing to share. Wish you could but hey any information helps.
Also Cindy thank you for sharing the box template and beautiful example. Those are great and I am headed to make a few for my step-daughter for notes to family and friends.

I'm not sure if this template will work, but it seems to be about 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches. If you print it out and it's too big, you can always try to create one a wee bit smaller by following this template as a guide.

Sorry, when I copied that template, it prints out much smaller. But the size is supposed to be 3 3/4 x 4 inches, so it may not work for you. But you can set your 3 x 3 card on a piece of blank paper and draw a square around it about 1/4 inch larger, then draw in triangle shapes around it as is shown in the picture.

For those of you that have the Pink Wishblade -- I took Cindy's original box template and converted it to a .FS file for use with Create & Cut Software (with her permission of course, thanks Cindy!) You can download it from my blog at www.scramping-addict.blogspot.com.
Cheers!
