Aren't they just beautiful. It's times like this that I just love being a demo. I'm going to have so much fun playing with these stamps, and showing my customers how to make the most out of them. And, if you really like them make sure to host a workshop, because you can earn a set for every three hundred dollars is sold at your party. My mom did this and between her own spending and the workshop total she got like four sets! So much fun. I love SU!
Definitly going to get So Many Scallops and Lots Of Thoughts. Not too sure about the rub-ons, and I know the other sets really aren't me. But I am lovin' that big letter alpha preview! (pg. 5 ;) ) I am just so excited about the new catty... can't hardly wait!
I really like most of what's in the SAB mini, and would love to place an order large enough to earn 4 sets. However, I do have a limited stamp budget, so I'll wait and see if I love anything in the new catty enough to blow my entire budget on SU or if my money would be better spent elsewhere (tons I want from other companies!!).

Someone asked if the link was Cdn or US - I posted the US link - but the Cdn one is identical - the only difference is that you have to spend $75 rather than $50 to get a set free.
I'm kind of excited to see the rubons -I've never used them much and in the preview catty there were cute rub-ons as well, so this might be a good way to try them?
I'm in a stamp club that meets once a month - so we will have at least 2 meetings during sale-abration - so that helps me to spread out the order...so I'll probably end up with at least 2 sets - that is, unless I book a party in that time too - will have to see if any of my friends would be into that.
I'm glad that most of you are liking the catty. I also agree with the person who said that once she sees what people make with the sets she tends to need to have them even more! I'm hopeless, aren't I?!!
The SAB flier refers to a Scallop Circle Punch, #SSC380 ... what is that number? Are they referring to the Scallop Circle punch in the regular catalog? It does not have that reference number ... ???
I don't think your question has been answered yet...SSC is "Spring/Summer Catalog" and the 380...I think you meant 180. That means the coordinating punch is on page 180. That help?
LOVE the SAB this year! I can't wait to see what's in the new catalog....if these sets are any indication then I think we will see lots of things we'll want. But then again I'm afraid I see lots of things I want all the time.
In Australia the promotion runs from jan first til the end of Feb and has a couple of different sets (and no rub-ons! :( ) and we have to spend $100 to get one set free. (our dollar is at about 89cUS)
I like the rub ons, and the friendship blooms set. But that's about it. Last year I got one of everything in the SAB catty, this year, I'm not so eager.
I do really wish there was a simply scrappin set this year, I loved the one last year and was hoping it would come out in the spring catty, but I guess we'll see.

Looking through the SAB mini makes me think that they are referring to page numbers in the Spring Summer Catalog - I could be wrong, of course!
I think this years is better than last years, I'm done christmas shopping, now I can figure out what I want and BUDGET an amount I need, so much temptation always. On page 4 of the birthday whimsy, is the color combo, wild wasabi, choclate chip and soft sky? I need to order whatever in colors I want anymore

All of them seem to be solid image sets. Why no outline stamps? I like coloring in my images. I never seem to get a good impression with solid images. I even use the SU inks.

Re: the outline ones... the "Merci" set is a line-art one that you could easily color in. You're right, though, that's really the only one that's "colorable."

You will be very happy with the new Spring Summer Catalog, that's all I can say!!

I really like tese. The scallop set is adorable! The birthday whimsy set is awesome too -- quite unlike anything I have in my collection. Lots of thoughts reminds me of the So many sayings hostess set --it will be fun to mount those separately for greater flexibility! The merci set is super cute. The rub-ons in four colors are awesome (I think the whole addition of rub ons to the stampin' up accessory line is fantastic -- so many new possibilities). And the friendship blooms set coordinates perfectly with the rub ons -- just like the delight in life set coordinated with teh simply scrappin kit during last year's SAB.
I know I sound like a bubbly idiot, but I really did not expect that the selection in this year's SAB catalog would be this good! Even though I'm an SU fanatic I don't love every stamp set that SU puts out, so I was super excited to see that I really liked all the SAB sets this year since I definitely plan to earn them all!
I totally agree... I think this year is way better than last year by far... It actually looked like a real catalog full of good stamps. not just ones they know they are giving away for free and didn't put time into designing them. These really are quality.
Thanks for the link... I have been anxiously awaiting the Sale-A-Bration. Now I can direct my budget elsewhere. Yikes! The only set I would even take for free is So Many Scallops because I already have the scallop punch. I am in a stamp club so I will probably spend the $50.
As I was looking at the sale a bration catalog, I noticed a red square card right before the merci set. It has a dotted swirly frame and inside is a pink daisy with two gold brads on either side. Is the swirly frame a stamp? I don't see it in any of the sets or the page of rub ons.
LOVE the rub-ons! I think it is a great way for folks to try them out!
The Birthday Whimsy really caught my eye-I really like Garden Whimsy and I am glad I already have the wheel to go with it. I like that you can use your hole punches to punch out the little circles and add a pop of color (or glitter!) behind it.

Both the swirly frame and the design below it are in the new catalog in a set called "Frames with a Flourish" on page 111. It's a beautiful set with 5 frames and 2 flourish designs.
