I was very tempted to skip over this challenge -- but I'm glad I sat down and sucked it up!! I'm actually liking what I came up with. Do I sound surprised??
Wowzers! This was a challenge and a half! I think it must be time for another VSN to get me to stop second or third or fourth guessing myself and to just go with my original thought. Anyway I had fun doing this. Thanks for a great challenge, Beth.

OH HOW COOL................hope you can see the black marks from my burn out to get to the basement at top speed..........OMG...THIS IS MY BEST CARD EVER! I knew exactly what I wanted to do because this weekend I cleaned up a bit (scraps of paper and punched out a whole bunch of stuff and this was what I used to make my 3 fans and the rest of my card)....WOOOOOHOOOO!
I didn't play earlier today because I wasn't sure who I would send a "fan" card to...then I thought BIRTHDAY CAKE! Thanks for looking! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I wanted to try to give this a Vintage Look but I'm not sure I succeeded. Good exercise in learning something new. Great technique but I would not make this card for any old body!!! Takes lots of time. Thanks, Beth.
This was certainly a challenge. I do not know why, but I really struggled with it. It still did not turn out the way I imagined it, but I guess it's OK. Everyone else has made awesome cards!! Maybe I should not have looked at all of yours first, it intimidated me. Here is mine..Snowflakes
This was a fun challenge. I originally started out with my fan stamps but it wasn't working for me. So I combined this challenge with WT83-Putting on the Spritz! This took me a long time to make but I am so happy with my results. My Blo-pens have neon ink - I'm not sure if you can see it in the scan but you can see it in person! I also gathered my neon cardstock, a neon pipecleaner and bright lime gree eyelets (which are close enough to look neon!
Loved everyone's creations. Awesome job ladies..I haven't done any of the challenges for months. I will have to give this one a try. Thanks for all the inspiration.
Thank you for a fantastic challenge this week, I have been wanting to make one of these types of cards for ages and thanks to this challenge, I finally have one made.
Here's a .pdf file (right click and save to your hard drive before opening, for best results) with divided circles. If your circle is bigger than the one on the file, just use a ruler and extend the lines.
Oh! THis challenge drove me nuts!
My mind does not think this way!!!
Thanks to my brilliant DH, who so patiently helped me two nights in a row!!!
I got it, and got a geometry lesson in the bargain!
Well here it is. I cant believe I really finished this one truth be told I didnt think I would. It still feels like its missing something but Im not sure what it is. Anyone with ideas please let me know.
Stamp is non Stampin-Up. Heart & butterflies were made from taking four layers of foil then running it through the crimper three different directions, punched and color with gold. Thanks for looking.
OK ya'll. How do you get the fan pieces all the same size? Just eyeball it? 'Cause my eyeballs must be cross eyed. Do I need to dig out (or purchase) a compass and protractor or is there an easier way that I am missing?
I thought I would give this a try but I missed that we were supposed to use stamped paper, not patterned. Anyway, since it is already done and looks OK I thought I'd upload anyway - great technique - thanks for the challenge. Here's mine:
