The "Loved-it" purse template from SU makes a cute little purse, but when I tried to add 3" note cards to make a it a gift set, it was falling over. So I widened the bottom & scanned it for you to use. Here's the altered template. It works with SU's 3" envelopes or you can use this three inch envelope template to make your own:
Forums at Splitcoaststampers
There are 3 different purse templates here ("attached files" below):
1. The first one was used for the purple purse above; it has the extended bottom is for note cards sets
2. The second one is just for a purse card (skinny bottom) It is 80% sized
3. The third one is also for a purse card, but it is 115% sized & has a pocket & extra triangle piece for embellishing. (You can use scaled printing to make this any size you like) :0)
How to use the templates (To make the purses without having printer lines show & to save cardstock):
1. Print a copy of the template(s) onto cardstock (I love Naturals)
2. Cut along the edges
3. Place template over your patterned paper
4. Trace with a pencil (mechanical pencil or a sharp one) Omit handles if you like
5. Cut along pencil lines & erase them when done
6. Score where the pattern indicates (dotted lines) Don't worry this pattern is very forgiving with score lines. I was worried I had bunged it up & it turned out just fine :0)
7. Embellish with eyelets & ribbon (if desired)
8. Fold & press along folds with a bone-folder
9. Adhere with good double-sided tape
Print this template (How to):
