No, originally there were two Diva's announced and this only held true for 2 weeks.
Has anyone been deemed a Diva more than once?
Yes, starofmay purely by accident of course...but still such a deserving Diva.
What was the date of the very first Diva Challenge?
April 21, 2006. And here is the challenge that began it all...SBSC41
How many Diva's have been announced so far?
39 (see post # 31 for the list)
Approxiamately how many scrapbook pages have been inspired (and uploaded) by a Diva's gallery?
this is really anybody's guess...if I were to get technical it would be many more than the 88 it shows and possibly even more than the large # Peggy came up with. This question was just for the fun of looking and pretty much had no right or wrong answer. It was a FREEBIE as long as some sort of answer was given.
Where was the original Diva Challenge introduced?
In the sketch challenges. The challenge was used as inspiration to create a page using a scrapbook page from the chosen gals gallery as a sketch. Some sketches were even made and posted in the beginning stages of this challenge.
When did Darcy (arhawg) begin helping with the Diva Challenge?
Darcy began with SBDC02 and has been along side me to help with both sketches, diva challenges, themes...just wherever she is needed Darcy has been there for me. Thanks Darcy!

• What was the date of the very first Diva Challenge? Are you talking the first SCDC or the first diva without a spacifiic code? SCDC was june16, 2006, but in the sketch challenge 42 dated 5/5/06 is the first I see with the actual name DIVA
• How many Diva's have been announced so far? Since some were announced with the sketch challenges before scdc was installed, I’m going to go with 45
• Approxiamately how many scrapbook pages have been inspired (and uploaded) by a Diva's gallery? I came up with77 when I did a seach in the gallery using keywod SCDC*
• Where was the original Diva Challenge introduced?in with the sketch challenges

How many Diva's have been announced so far? 38 (if you count the Diva's included in the sketch challenges and don't starofmay twice)
Approxiamately how many scrapbook pages have been inspired (and uploaded) by a Diva's gallery? I came up with 88 with the code SBDC*; but since they were referred to as Diva's and were Diva inspirations before the Diva code was used I searched and found approx. 172 pages
Where was the original Diva Challenge introduced? Along with/instead of the sketch challenges
When did Darcy (arhawg) begin helping with the Diva Challenge? June 9, 2006 with BetsyJo as our Diva
the question about how many pages have been inspired/uploaded - do you count individual pages - or dps as 1; some people post both pages individually because they are scans, some post them together as they are photographs, then of course there are some that post(ed) several shots of the same layout as there are hidden elements and/or details to show.
then I got to wondering, how many pages have been inspired/uploaded - but the code wasn't entered at all or correctly. I know I have seen some. So much to think about --- so little time!

Peggy, you crack me up!
Tracy....GOOD questions! Some were super tricky because of the SBDC code not starting till after a few Diva's had been named! I was a Diva for a week before the SBDC code was started, but I couldn't remember the exact week till Peggy posted that it was when Darcy started! I actually remember Darcy calling me to tell me that she was going to start helping with choosing the weekly Divas and that I was one of them!! Such a fun conversation!
Anyway, great questions! Fun little challenge for the weekend...

Honestly, this question was just kind of a hit and miss...no right or wrong answer. I attempted counting but ran into many different scenario's and decided any answer suited me just fine. lol

I really did expect to see a bit more debating since so many of you have been around for the entire time the Diva Challenge has...But I think this was still quite a fun and successful little idea.

Hey Sally Sue! That was a huge hint and really the basis for my questions. I printed that post long ago and just read it again a few weeks ago and thought...AH-HA a questionairre would be fun! lol

So this actually began with SBSC41. I posted and asked what everyone preferred and then decided that the sketch and the diva would be separated...then changing the inspiration to Diva of the Week. So the answer is 39. There were some week's that no one was actually named and starofmay only counts as one.
