My card is here
I used the new unveiling of the papertreyink website as a basis for my card. I used the same design that Pine (Heather Nichols) used - I love her simple, yet elegant style!
I put links in the u pload.

Oh, no I had to venture outside of SCS!
I wasn't very happy with the first card.
Paisley Ribbon
So I did another, which I also am not the happiest with.
Tree Scene
Oh well, I'm giving up for today. Gotta' finish school and then take the boys to puppet practice at church. Maybe I'll get my mind straight tonight while they are at wrestling practice....boy, I'm tired already .

Hot Card Technique
Here is my Hot Card made with a CHRISTMAS NAPKIN. I have wanted to do this for a long time and saved this napkin to use 'sometime'. Well, this morning I was ironing and remembered that I hadn't checked out Julia's challenge yet. So since the 'iron was hot' I tried this technique and it was really easy and fun. I finished the card but not the ironing!

The technique I decided to try is called torn paper marbeling. I found it at the Home of Nuttnhoney on her tutorial page. It is linked on the card.

What a great challenge. I wasn't going to do one today because I should be focusing on cleaning up my Scrap Room but I think I'll do a quick tidy and then really get down to work on WTC 100! I did a bit of looking at some of the others already and oh boy! do the judges have their work cut out for them. The talent on this site is phenomenal! Well, better get surfing... or was I supposed to tidy first...hmmmm

Great Challenge. I used Card Maps. http://pagemaps.com/dec2006cardmaps.htm
Here's my card, Just barely got finished when my Grandsons woke-up. Yesterday when I wasn't stampin' they slept 3 hours. Today when I want to make a card they slept an hour and a half. I think they know they are missin' something. Little monkeys.
Here's mine. Thanks for lookin' http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...77179&cat=8368

OK, here's mine. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...77251&cat=4074 I took the inspiration from the main webpage of the Dole plantation, with the pineapples growing in front of the building. I wanted to use my new stamp set and this is what I came up with. Thanks for looking.

This started out really slow for me to find something that inspired me but then It hit me. I saw the card and went right to work. I instantly thought of using the hostess simply scrappin kit. I've always forget that you can you them on cards too. so fun Julia!! tfl

One Red Rose
I sure wish I had a great digital camera and could take a good photo. The scans just don't do it justice, but . . . it is what it is.

Wooo Hooo! I'm in on a challenge ON THE SAME DAY IT'S POSTED!!!
Can you tell I had a snow day?
Here's my inspiration:
http://www.heroarts.com/cardmaking/020607.shtml
I tried to emboss without buying the darn cuttlebug. I ended up stepping all over it to get it to work. I think I need stronger feet (Lord knows, there certainly is enough weight behind them)!
Here's my version:
