Thanks Jeanne, great challenge, I manage to find a little peice of wrapping paper. We did Christmas yesterday at my son and daughter-in-law's, so today I'm able to do the challenge.
Merry Christmas everyone, It's been a great year here on Splitcoast. Thanks everyone for all the incouragement and inspiration. I feel I've grown so much thanks to everyone here. --These challenges have been the bomb.
Well, I guess I'll let these kids finally open presents so that I can have some paper.......I've got my eye on a red and gold peice!! (All Santa's presents this morning were NOT wrapped, then we went to church, now we are waiting for Grandma and pa to arrive so they can open stuff from us!)
Great cards already!!

Everyones cards are really pretty! I wish I had the energy to make a card, I am totally exhausted and my new Cuttlebug is staring at me and I cant even find the oomph to play with it. I have the day off tomorrow so maybe i'll stamp then...after I go to Michaels to use this 50% off coupon.
I just had to try this challenge, and so it was. I cut out the poinsetta, then the challenge began, oh how to make it look like a piece of art, well I tried..... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here is my attempt at this,I thought the idea was crazy at first, but it turned out to be quite fun.....great challenge! There were only to kinds of paper to choose from and I decided on this, I made the snow out of tissue paper, and cut the snowman out of the wrapping paper. Hope you enjoy it. Actually while I was making this card I got a phone call my husband and my cousins husband were in an accident, thankfully they are ok and was able to continue to their football gane in Miami...It was nerve wracking for awhile after that though!!!
This was fun! It seems a very cool way to make thank you cards in the future too, wouldn't it be surprising to receive an adorable thank you card that incorporated some of the wrapping paper you so carefully selected for that special gift?
Here's my card. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I wasn't expecting to find a challenge here today! Currently my sick 3 year old is sitting on my knee so I won't get anything done tonight, so tomorrow while I go through the trash to make sure a part of one of the new toys isn't in there I'll get some paper!
Wrapping Paper Card.....made earlier today but just now getting around to uploading it. Merry Christmas everyone!
