Default Splitcoast Store Remodel

We are extremely excited to announce that we are about to do a very major remodel of the Splitcoast store.

This remodel is going to require closing the store while we renovate, but when we open back up, you will not believe your eyes!

In the meantime, while the little tiny electronic construction workers are busy behind the scenes, we'd like your help!

What would you like to see in the way of merchandise in the new store?

There are the classics - shirts, mugs, things we will always carry - but we are all artists here, so think outside the box. How do you want to sport your Splitcoast sass? Bags, notepads, crafty tools?

Give us your wildest personalized merchandise dreams and we'll see if we can't make a few of them come true.

Thanks for your patience during the downtime.

I would get more use from a ceramic mug (but it has to hold at least 12 oz and ideally as large as 20 oz.) than the travel mugs. I often use small keychains as zipper pulls so an SCS one could go on my tote.

I always love a good pen and pencils with erasers that work cleanly are very handy in our craft.

Maybe the bands to hold sunglasses ... the foam to hold your favorite canned beverage (and keep it cold) ... can hardly wait to see the new store!

I once saw a bumper sticker that said "I'm so crafty, I make people!" Wouldn't that be a great thing to have on a SCS onesie?

This sounds like fun! Just name stuff we think we may want/need!

SU sells a 100 sheet stamping pad with measurements and grids for stamping. I WOULD LOVE one that has Splitcoaststampers on it...and a list of member companies and all the stuff I need as a stamper...card measurements and such. This would be FABULOUS!

Also, would LOVE a cutting mat that says Splitcoaststampers.

Scissors?

Desk caddy?

A vinyl window cling for my car back windshield that has a classy design that says I design at SCS and give website?

Cute 13 X 13 craft boxes to store pages and paper in my craftroom. If it looks good, I will use it as decor...stackable or whatever! Cute and funky!

I am listing craft room stuff, but most of the stuff in my craftroom is black/espresso!

Is there a calendar already? Wallet calendar? We could digi download those.

I want a SCS MOUSE for my computer! Make it cute. My current one is black! (Go figure)! A cute mouse pad. I need to check the store. I have no idea what is already there. What do I know? I still need an SCS cup, too!

Can we get SCS flipflops? LOL! Hey...you said to dream!

  • Luggage Tags!!
  • Window "bumper" Stickers (needs to show up through tinted windows!)

Love the previous suggestion of:
  • Recyclable (grocery) bags
  • and a couple of Betty's suggestions made me giggle out loud! ;)

I so far like all of the suggestions. How about a cup holder that attached to the edge of the table/desk. This way we can have our beverages in an area that we cab't spill on our supplies. I have these at scrapbook stores.

I'd love to have a nice water bottle. The drink cups that we currently have are too small for my needs, and I don't need to keep things warm. I'd love to have an SCS bottle to take to the gym. I personally like SIGG bottles, and I know that you can personalize them through Cafe Press - http://mysigg.com/customize/options/

I guess now that I think about it, the "I'm so crafty, I make people" should really go on a maternity shirt, shouldn't it?

I love the previous suggestions of the SIGG water bottle, the can koozie, the mouse pad, and the reusable grocery bags.

A tote bag with pockets inside to carry a catalog, a pen or two, Cutterbees, adhesives, etc. to stamp club would be uber cool.

A different style of sweatshirts, and/or 3/4 sleeve t-shirts, would be great too.

I love the ideas of things for the craft room, all with SCS on it:
grid paper
a cup holder that attches to the table
paper snips with the end cap like a Cutterbee
cutting mat

I also echo the idea of a BIG ceramic mug
Key Chain

Sweatshirt and t-shirt and a polo shirt for me too!

Default Piercers Unite!

Here I am ... piercing away on a project .... and realizing that my little 3 & 7/8" square piercing mat has been "pierced nearly to pieces" .... sigh

So how about a 5.75" square piercing mat?? That would accommodate even the "long" edge of the standard A2 card with an added bit to spare! ;)

I can't wait to see it open! I love the grid paper, mugs, desk drink cup holder thingee, denim shirt with embroidered logo, coaster, luggage tags, and I'm a pen freak! All those and more would be all over my work station!

ESPECIALLY GRID PAPER PAD WITH LOGO AND COMPANIES ALL OVER WITH MEASUREMENTS, ETC. Yup, big vote for that one~

Default SCS STORE REMODEL

I love all of the suggestions!

I would also love to see totes--not the kind you roll (although some folks might want those) but the oversize purse kind you can even use as a purse for those of us who carry our lives around with us in our handbags!!! With lots of pockets inside and out and a zip top (not that I am fussy!)

What an exciting thing to look forward to!

Thanks much

Maybe a stupid question for old hands, but for those of us that haven't been to the SCS store in a long time and spend a lot of time in the gallery instead, once the store is up and running again, where on the site will the little SCS store button/link be? Will it be on the home page or will it be in the upper right corner/bottom of the page like the home page/gallery/resources links? If it's going to have anything like what some people would like to see in it, it sounds like a "don't miss" place to shop and I want to be able to easily find it.

And I love the idea of little keychains. I use them as zipper pulls, too.

What fantastic ideas, all useful and sure to be popular with the crafters. I collect key chains so that would be top of my list. Love the drink and scrap holder for the work table. Clothing in Women's sizes would be nice. Jewelry (charms, necklace, earrings). Paper mats with all the mentioned information. Things to carry unfinished and finished projects in, etc.

Thanks you.

OK I have the perfect must have thingie...you know those double wall acryilic insulated cold drink holders that Starbucks did awhile ago and a few places are carrying now?

I can't find a link but I've seen them at Target and World Market recently. I'd love to get those with logos

I use them as zipper pulls, too.
the store button was on the top right, along with home/gallery and the like buttons

Thanks. I was hoping it wasn't just some picture thing elsewhere because my internet security set up blocks a lot of stuff like that. A store button with the rest of the buttons won't get blocked.

I would think that am "I'm so crafty I make people" would be great for any mom! My "people" ain't so little anymore but I made three of them ;)

I love the sleep shirt idea - I often tell my family "Off Duty, Destination: SCS"

I love the apron idea - flirty apron are hot right now ;) http://www.flirtyaprons.com/full-aprons-list.html

How about something for our husbands? "I'm an SCS widower" "SCS took my wife and I want her back"

I agree with everything already suggested here, can't think of to much more to add!

Love the idea of pads of work paper with the SCS logo and grid marks, etc. Also, Tshirts and sweat shirts in 3x and 4x.
