Nor-Cal Paper Crafters Shoebox Swap!!
Hostess: Candice Hernandez Type of Swap: Large Group When: February 27th Time: 10am-4pm Where: Rancho Cordova Cost: $10 (either mailed or sent via paypal to [email protected])
Please PM me for my mailing address and please submit payment within one (1) week of sign up Available spots: 25
** Note: We will still have the swap even if only a few people have signed up by the cut-off date.**
The themes that are available are: St Patricks Day, Easter, Mothers Day and Birthdays. You may sign up for more then one group if you would like.
Each person attending will bring a sample of a completed card and kits of the sample to complete. Each kit should be in some type of baggie, and pre-cut, pre-stamped, ribbon cut, etc. The baggies should be placed in a shoebox or basket to be brought to the swap.
The number of kits to bring will be determined after the close of the sign up period.
Each person should bring their own basic tool kit which will include: scissors, bone folder, adhesive, glue dots, pop dots or foam tape. May include any other tool that might be needed or useful. If a particular tool is needed for card, please indicate when signing up.
Swap will begin promptly at 10AM and conclude at 4PM or as soon as all cards are completed.
We will break for a potluck lunch. There will be a separate sign up for the potluck. The hostess will provide all paper products and drinks.
Cut off date for sign up will be February 15th. The hostess will then post as to how many card kits will have to be made.
Should there be a need to cancel, please inform hostess with a PM no later than February 19th and a refund of $5 will be made. There will be NO refunds after that date.

Woohoo you're coming With everything else going on I haven't had the time to sit down and stamp. Now that everything is back to normal and the holidays are over with, I've been cleaning and organizing my craftroom.

I had to order stamps. She is doing a Tinker Bell theme for her daughter's 1st birthday. The stamps I ordered came today. Hey, I had a thought ---- about a putting a group page on Facebook for our Shoebox Swap group?

Oh how cute...Tinker Bell. I bet they are going to be adorable! That is a great idea for Facebook. I'll look into it. I bet there are other stampers on FB that aren't here. Great Idea!!
Just a reminder: The shoebox swaps aren't just for those on SCS. If you know of someone who loves to stamp and would like to join us, they are more then welcome!

I was just wondering that myself! Hopefully we can get some more ladies to join us. We always have LOTS of fun and such wonderful ideas come from everyone.
I'm going to be sending out another email for our swap. Several of us demos that attend have been hanging out over at Stampin' Connection which is similiar to SCS but it is for SU Demos only.
Remember...our swaps are for everyone. Those who attend don't need to be demos and don't need several years of stamping experience.
I hope you all enjoyed the sun today! I have a workshop coming up so I have been busy trying to figure out which stamp sets I want to use...decisions decisions.

I got to thinking about the number of participants that we have versus what time we'll be done and I'm afraid that we'll be done by 12:30-1:00, so it is up to you if you are still wanting to attend.
Last time we had 6 participants and we were done by 12:30.
